Local authentic mexican restaurant in Gold Beach. In addition to an expansive lunch and dinner menu, they also serve blended drinks, elotes and a number of mexican desserts.
We enjoyed Casita food so much,it's the freshest and authentic Chile rellano and tamale combo plate. The masa on the tamale was so fresh and light excellent taste. The mole sauce was one of the best I've tasted. Don't hesitate to try if you in Gold Beach 10 ****
The lady at my hotels front desk recommended this place. Good service and the food was delicious. I gave it a try and will be back for their beef tacos.
Trust the Previous reviews
We generally look at reviews and don't always trust the poor reviews. I mean things happen especially during a pandemic. We did the drive through at 5:15pm. I ordered a Chimichanga with shredded beef and whole pinto beans, chips and Guac. My wife ordered a super burrito with chicken. We were the only customers so it's not like they were on overload. My Chimichanga was huge but it had about a 1/4 cup of beef, no whole beans, just a mountain of refried beans. I got no chips and the Guac was runny.GEZZZZZ My wifes super burrito was huge but it had about 1/4 cup of chicken, an overload of refried beans and a tiny bit of rice. On top of that the food tasted BLAH.... Never Again......
My husband and I walked to La Casita De Oro from our hotel. There is no dine in, but we were able to order from inside. Although the drive-thru had a line to the street, we waited outside less than 10 minutes for our food. We split the carne asada plate (steak, rice, beans and tortillas). We asked for flour tortillas and received corn. Everything was very good.
My favorite refried beans EVER!
Super, super nice family runs this little joint. I am not sure how she does it, but the refried beans are like silk-probably lard, but who cares! My order is always the Camarones el Diablo-yummy! If you like hot, ask if they have made the habenero salsa-get it as a side! The adobada is also really excellent!
