A superb lunch
My wife and I ate here on 9/3/19. Like other reviewers, a nice cafe in a small town with inside and outside seating (with your pet). Clean but not ADA for entry or bathroom. Food was excellent. We both had the hot Pastrami but I also added the soup and tall blackberry malt. Had never had cooked onion added to a Pastrami s/w before but was very tasty. When the locals and school kids eat here you know it has to be good. Add a nice park close by for a pet walk. They also serve breakfast till 11am.

Outstanding
The name on the outside of the building said, "Sugar Pine Company Cafe". This is a true "mom and Pop cafe in the middle of nowhere. We were on our way from Prospect to Klamath Falls when we came across this cafe. Inside it is definitely a "locals" cafe as each customer had his or her own labeled coffee cups. Mom and daughter (??) cooked and served the meals and it was right out of "Americana"! Everyone was so nice and the food was beyond great and the price was amazingly low. It was great to find this little jewl in the middle of the Oregon forests.

Best place in Oregon
My friend and I came through town one evening in July, shortly after Butte Falls Cafe had closed. We were in a bit of a pickle because we were running low on gas and all the gas stations nearby were closed already. When we realized we won't make it back to Medford we pulled over at the Butte Falls Cafe and knocked on the locked door. Amy was inside, cleaning and getting ready to go home. As soon as I told her about our problem she dropped everything and came to our rescue. When she couldn't reach the owner of the gas station (a friend of hers) she spontaneously offered us the gas from her lawn mower back home. She locked the cafe, jumped in her car, came back ten minutes later with a small gas tank and even helped us fill it in our tank. We made it back to Medford that night, filled up our tank and were able to continue to crater lake the next morning as planned. Amy truly saved our trip! I can't write a review on the food at Butte Falls Cafe because we missed out on it this time around. But I can tell you that one of the kindest and most hospitable person in the world works there so I bet the food is fantastic too! If nothing else stop there for a coffee or a soda and meet one of the best people in Oregon.
