Very Good Food and Service
We had great service and the food was really good. I had the Rock Fish and Chips which was very good. Others had Burgers which were great....and the wings were really good starters.
Great food choices on menu. Delicious food, served fresh. Plenty of indoor seating and tables. Great service, very clean. No need to reserve table. Gets busy. Definitely recommend
Fantastic Late Dinner with Great Drinks and Burgers
My husband and I stumbled upon the Broken Anchor Bar and Grill while looking for a place to eat dinner after sunset. It turned out to be a serendipitous find and we had a great late dinner! We started our meal with drinks that were both delicious and appropriately strong; a blackberry old fashioned and a liquid marijuana. For an appetizer, we had the steak fingers, which my husband really enjoyed. I found them a little heavy but I'm not the biggest meat eater. For dinner, I had a cheeseburger that was the best burger I've had in a very long time. The fries were great too! My husband had the carnitas anchor tacos for his meal and raved about them. The price was reasonable for what we ate and the service was quick and attentive. This ended up being a great stop and we'll definitely be returning next time we find ourselves in the area!
We ordered fish & chips and the portions were very generous. We ordered takeout and it was ready on time.
What you might expect
Decent bar/restaurant with food. Had fish and chips and a burger. Burger was fine, but cooked well done (no option otherwise) and the fish was good and cooked well, but a little greasy. BIG portions on the fish & chips. Large selection of beers and such. Casual vibe with sports on TV. Would go again.
