Had a wonderful pulled duck sandwich that was served with an enormous fresh salad. The service was friendly and prompt. A great place for a fine lunch or dinner.
Came here for my surprise birthday dinner. The chicken dish I ordered had to be sent back because there was so much oil surrounding the plate that it was inedible. My appetite disappeared after that, so I sat and watched my friends eat. I did have some bread and it was good. Hugely disappointed in this place. And my friends said it was just "meh."
This was our first experience at Black Trumpet Bistro but definitely won't be our last! Not only were the staff pleasant and very professional, the food was phenomenal!! My husband had the escargot for an appetizer and the sirloin for his main meal. I had the butternut squash ravioli and it was probably the best I've ever had. We definitely recommend Black Trumpet Bistro but check for the days and hours they're open.
We celebrated our anniversary with sirloin and a lovely cabernet last night, and it was so good we returned tonight for beef stroganoff and a lovely malbec. The staff - every single one we encountered - was professional, knowledgeable, and delightful - genuinely pleased to serve us. They are very busy, so you might want reservations. Highly recommend this tiny classy place!
