Good food and service
We found the service friendly and timely. The fish and chips were served hot and quite tasty. Would definitely go back for a repeat.

Typical Local Pub & Brewhouse
We came here because we read that they make a great Albacore tuna melt sandwich, which happens to be one of my wife's favorites. It was tasty enough, but what kind of establishment sells you a tuna sandwich ($14) and charges you extra for grilling the sandwich ($1.00) and adding cheese ($1.00). Just list the dang sandwich as an honest to God tuna melt and charge $16.00. We started with their 8 little glass beer taster ($12) because that's always something we like to do in brew pubs that offer it. You get to taste everything they make. We had the taster with what has to be the tiniest and most non-descript order of fried calamari we've ever had ($14). We order calamari in nearly every restaurant that offers it, so we consider ourselves to be squid "experts". This was extremely disappointing. I had the oyster burger for my dinner ($16). It was very tasty with four perfectly crispy fried oysters. If I could have only kept them from sliding off the bun. They still tasted great though. The atmosphere was a bit more laid back than I prefer and I doubt we'd ever return because there are a number of better choices for visitors to Cannon Beach. Live and learn. But I suspect it may be a favorite place for the locals...and it IS located in a very historical old building (ex-skating rink, I believe).

One of the Top 5 Eats & Brews at Cannon Beach!
Of the many visits we’ve enjoyed to Cannon Beach and its surrounds, we’d never had made the point of stopping in at Bill’s. With so many great eateries in town it is difficult to make choices at Cannon Beach. But we are sorry we have not experienced this before. This place is great! Great in many, many ways. Fantastic service, super-duper excellent and friendly staff, superb food, incredible brews, and a fantastic atmosphere! Bill’s right on the main drag of Hemlock with its external rustic façade and nautical vibes interior just exudes beachy and brewery in one fell swoop! For you Brewsters out there, Bill’s got the gamut of Brewskis from Blondes, IPAs to Stouts and specialize in seasonal brews! The seafood eats are terrific too! Around mid-day, I broke away from my traveling crew to sip a great, cold, and fabulous Blonde. After doing so, and meeting the family again, I convinced them this was the place for dinner – and we did! Once getting our group seated, we started off with some of Bill’s Pints (I had another Blonde), Prosecco, some CC Red Blend and even some shooters (except for the designated drivers of course). Ready for dinner, my group found itself awed by an extensive menu that would quench anyone’s eating desires from the obvious fish and seafood to burgers and other delectables. Our group ran the breadth of the menu while ordering. We ordered and shared: the sumptuous Fish & Chips with huge servings of wonderful Cod immersed in a great Beer Batter and served with terrific crispy outside, tender inside Fries, with Garlic Bread, Tartar Sauce and an oversized lemon wedge; a couple of orders of a very traditional and super delish New England-Style Clam Chowder; a delicate and fresh Cobb Salad; a uniquely prepped and exhibited Albacore Tuna Sandwich on a perfectly baked Sour Dough bread, with hints of curry, mayo and lemon, not to mention lettuce and tomato, with chips; my order was the old-fashioned Fisherman Stew which included succulent Halibut, Cod, Prawns, Scallops and Bay Shrimp, and the aromas of leek, saffron, garlic, olive oil and wine all swirled around my bowl as I delighted in this masterpiece. These folks have been around for a while, and you can tell. You’ve got to be doing lots of things right when an establishment has been around since 1932 as its first brewery! This locally owned and operated eatery of fine brews and seafood is a must for both the Landlubber or the Seafaring. Have at it. The place to eat, at Cannon Beach!

Great spot
We’ve had beers here before but this time we added lunch. Great service and good food. Can recommend the chilli, onion rings and burger. Fair pricing.
