Excellent food and service away from the crowds of tourists. Clan chowder was the best for our 10 days trip from Astoria to Newport where we were trying chowder in every place and every day

Nice spot!
Clean restaurant, friendly service and the food was delicious. The clam chowder wasn’t the best we’ve had but it was good enough.

Disappointing! The food was marginal at best. The chowder was not flavorful, no celery or enough clams. The crab on the crab louse salad was good, but the salad awful. Huge slices of cucumbers that were not peeled, small tasteless tomatoes. We had high hopes after reading g about the owner…apparently he is no longer. DONT bother going here.
