While the sandwich I ordered was OK and actually tasted good, I got the "base" sandwich with turkey added for $3.00 more. I had to look closely for any turkey as there was so little of it on the sandwich! I kind of think that for an almost $10.00 sandwich, there should be a bit more meat and not so much lettuce! I was a little disappointed and probably won't be back.
Our company catered a Christmas lunch. The taco beef was really bad and I got sick. Thank you so much for ruining my workday and the following weekend.
Like any restaurant that gets sold, new changes are introduced. Regretfully, in this case, the changes are for the worse. For example, they used to make the best Chef salad in town. What they serve now is a shadow of what was. Same with the changes to their sandwiches. There is not even mayo anymore, just something called Godness spread!!!!. As someone once said, " if it is not broke, don't fix it! At least, they kept the great staff. I used to get lunch there very often, now I will stick to my basic morning drink.
I needed a catered lunch for 45 people. Joy was really easy to work with and helped with menu selection. Due to Covid, individual lunch boxes were required. People commented how good the sandwiches were along with the homemade chips. I will definitely use Better Than Mama’s when I need a lunch catered again.
We've had "Better Than Mama's" cater for us on several occasions, and the food and service has always been fantastic. The veggie trays, desserts and fruit trays are all delicious and come with plenty of food for your group. And the dips...the dips are just incredible. Left overs are rare when they cater for us, but if there is a dip or two left, it rarely lasts another 24 hours. I highly recommend them for, not only their "in house" food, but also as a catering service as well. We had the food delivered, and they were here on time, and provided all the napkins/plates/serving tongs and just about everything else you'd need. The prices are good, and it's lots of food! Give them a shot, you won't regret it!
