    Go local

We were looking for a good IPA and an appetizer. 20 beers on tap and lots of locals, but the calamari was just a bit too “weird”. We are used to tiny little squids breaded and deep fried, not minced squid shaped like a mozzarella stick and deep fried. Busy place, service good, lots of local color.

Great bar food in Old Town Florence!

Great place to stop and eat while shopping old town Florence! It is a bar with some outdoor seating as well. Not sure what the atmosphere is like in the evening but lunch was relaxed and quiet enough to be enjoyable. Waitress was very friendly and food came fast. I got the fried calamari appetizer and wasn’t sure what to expect. They were pretty thick calamari sticks (like fish stick size) and were very good! The dipping sauce with it was very spicy with horseradish though, which I didn’t know before a heavily dipped full bite. Ha! I also had a cup of the clam chowder that came with outstanding bread to dip in it! The “cup” was more like a bowl and was plenty big enough for me! Overall I definitely recommend this place.

    Excellent service!

Our group was looking for a lunch spot in Florence and this was one of the only places open during the summertime in the mid week. We had a group of 10 and we sat outside. The 2 servers helping us were so accommodating and nice! We had a lot of separate payments and requests and they were so helpful and didn’t forget anything. The food was really good also. The fish and chips were huge and hand battered. I got a shrimp melt and it was really good. I would come back again just for the great service!

    Just went for beer

This is a really cool place inside. The ambience is good and friendly people. I really loved the decor and would go back next time in town. The waitress was kind of off in her own little world. Eating a meal and talking to a guest the entire time.

Great food. 20 brews on tap

With 20 craft beers on tap you might come in just for the brews but they the food is so good some non-drinking locals come in just to eat. About the best clam chowder I have ever had. Tasty burgers on homemade buns. Great service.
