Cinco Estrellas is truly a family farm that has been organic from the beginning. Owner Roberto Cruz’s three sons and two daughters were all raised there and attended the local high school in Junction City. Now his grandchildren’s swing-set and tricycles are as much a part of the landscape as the red and green rows of lettuce. Even the farm’s name was inspired by Roberto’s family: three sons + two daughters = five stars (cinco estrellas).
Cinco Estrellas has been the longest produce partner of Ag Connections — since the business started in January 2010. Roberto’s products continue to be integral to Agricultural Connections with his year-round production of fresh vegetables.
