The signature Dutch Baby pancake at the Original Pancake House on S.W. Barbur Boulevard is an airy caldera of butter, eggs and sugar. These folks have been serious about breakfast since 1953.
Founded in 1903 by two enterprising loggers, Besaw's restaurant and bar on N.W. 23rd Avenue endures as a neighborhood gathering place.
Pine State Biscuits on N.E. Alberta Street has got Southern-style breakfast covered. Make that smothered — in gravy, grits, fried chicken and cheese, among other things.
Plates come up hot and fast at Pine State Biscuits. The Reggie Deluxe breaks the mold on breakfast.
Satisfy your craving for old-fashioned bacon and eggs at Fuller’s Coffee Shop. This diner on N.W. 9th Avenue has been feeding Portland since the 1940s.
