We were part of a large group of people who gathered at the Vanguard for a surprise birthday party. The staff and ownership helped to put on a well organized event and handled the large volume of orders at the bar and from the small menu the Vanguard serves. Their beers are well made and the selections of wine are quite adequate. The outdoor seating area in the warmer months is very well liked.

I’m not beer drinker, but others in our group enjoyed the beer. I enjoyed the yummy pretzels and my beet salad. Hubby enjoyed his hamburger. The children enjoyed being upstairs so they can be close to the airplane. They were give. An Activity page along with crayons. We had a good time

I love supporting a locally owned business that offers great options for beer connoisseur. I love how friendly the owners are and I always have a great time with my buds . If you are in Wilsonville this place is a must !

Meh...
Well off the beaten track unless you are visiting the World of Speed museum or work in the mixed light industrial park. Very small tasting room and no on premise food. They do have food trucks that come by and park out front. Beer was fair to middling, service was outstanding and they were very eager to let you tour the brewery which is nice if the alchemy that is brewing interests you.

They had two other stouts and porters along with many other beers, but I went on to try two other places. The bartender said they had menus from places that would deliver food if you wanted. Nice glass windows, TVs. In sort of commercial warehouse office area but still pleasant. They had peanuts and pretzel etc., maybe free popcorn , did not notice it until I was leaving.
