Good stop for us
Traveling up the coast, this was a good afternoon break for us. Ate outside. Food was good and the IPA’s hit the spot. Service was good!
Stopped here for drinks and a snack. Hubby had a flight or 4 beers but only found one that he really liked. I had a vodka and tonic. We split a pretzel with mustard/cheese sauce -- it was excellent. Service was good but not outstanding.
Tasteless food, waitstaff attitudes, dirty facilities
The people hiring here must have low expectations from their staff. The waitress could barely muster a smile. She brought us the wrong item and when we asked for the item we ordered she looked at us like "geez, how many do you need?" Didn't feel like being a jerk and telling her she got it wrong. The food has no seasoning whatsoever. I never salt my food but desperately tried to "salt" some flavor out of it. The restroom was out of paper towels and the toilet seat was all wet. Gross. Staff standing around visiting with each other. Just an unpleasant vibe overall. It's a shame because it could be great with proper management.
Bit of Hipster Attitude
Food is okay but limited menu, bit of 'tude if you aren't really into *their* cocktails. We stopped in for a light dinner while driving up the coast. I had a salad, my husband had a tuna melt. Portions are good sizes. I asked for a cosmopolitan (they have limes, vodka, and cranberry juice on bar menu in other drinks) and the waitress gave me a horrified look and said they can't make that. I didn't push it, but not everyone wants a hipster cocktail with 10 local ingredients or whatever. I wouldn't go back.
I sat outside with friends on a beautiful night. They started the fire pit that made it even better. Had a few beers, all good. Also had pretzel with beer cheese, yum. A friend had tuna melt, raced about it. Veggie sandwich and also grilled cheese looked great. Looks like you cant go wrong with food. Outdoor dog friendly.
