Riding ATVs on the sand dunes is great family fun! Rent a quad or a mini dune buggy from Sandlake Tsunami ATV Rental and explore scenic Sandlake Dunes overlooking the beach on the Oregon Coast. They’re located just 3 miles from Sandlake Dunes Recreation Area. These ocean view dunes are only 12 minutes from Pacific City, 20 minutes from Tillamook, and 2 hours from Portland, Oregon. Camping and rental homes are nearby.

As a group of 11 women, all over 60, we thought this was super fun and we'd go back and do it again. Sandlake Tsunami is not located at the dunes, so you must trailer the ATV's a couple of miles down a country road to reach the recreation area, unload and load the equipment yourself. We brought 2 vehicles that could tow a small trailer and rented another from Rick. Our group rented two 4 seat UTVs and 3 quads. Helmets, helmet liners, googles and gloves were provided. The ATVs were in great shape and the helmets, etc, looked brand new. They are very generous with your ride time. Rick told us to make sure we got 2 hours of riding in after we had unloaded. We did, and it was wonderful! Don't hesitate to try it yourself. Rick was so helpful and accommodating to the bunch of us. I do suggest you pay attention and take pictures with your phone when the rigs are being loaded and tied down on the trailer. It really helped us with tying down for the drive back.
Super service, very friendly, quads are in great condition, helmets, gloves all washed ftesh and overall a great experience. I recommend it to anyone wanting a quick and easy fun riding experience on the beautiful Oregon Dunes. Oh and 2 hours is plenty if you want to ride hard and go.
Fantastic experience. Great fun for all (teens and moms alike). Rick and Mariah were super accommodating. Rick had everything organized. The ATVs were in tip top shape.
My family and I had a great time riding quads! Rick was so organized and everything went so smooth and easy. During this time with covid-19 I felt a little uneasy about cleanliness and maintaining social distancing. Rick was top notch, everything was so clean and very well maintained. He assured us that everything was laundered that could be laundered, sanitized, and even used UV lights to clean the equipment. My family and I can't wait to come back and will definitely use Sandlake Tsunami ATV Rental in the future!
Highly recommend Sandlake Tsunami ATV Rental if you are looking for a little thrill and fun at the sand dunes in Sandlake! Great friendly customer service, very accommodating, and a perfect place to rent ATV/buggies for all type of levels. Rick was very kind, efficient, helpful, and did all he can to make sure we were sorted out to ride the ATV & side-by-side. Be sure to reserve online, fill out the required paper work, and know the risks of renting ATVs. I highly recommend for everyone to ride with cautious, be respectful of others, and mostly enjoy.
