Agate Dam and Reservoir, features of the Rogue River Basin Project, are located about 10 miles northeast of Medford, Oregon. Agate Dam is a zoned earthfill structure on Dry Creek. The reservoir covers 216 surface acres. Fish species include largemouth bass, black crappie, brown bullhead, bluegill, yellow perch, and rainbow trout.
Agate Lake is a perfect location for fishing (Electric Motors Only) and swimming, or just taking in the view of Mt. McLoughlin, while enjoying a peaceful day lakeside.
