Oregon Korean War Memorial

Remember the forgotten war by visiting the Korean War Memorial. Made of carnelian granite and donor bricks, it’s dedicated to the 60,000 Oregonians who fought from 1950-1953, including Oregon’s only Medal of Honor recipient. Carved with the names of 298 Oregon servicemen who gave their lives and set in an open park with flags of the US, republic of Korea, United Nations and State of Oregon overhead, it is a wonderful setting to experience history.
