The Historic Alsea Bay Bridge Interpretive Center in Waldport was constructed by the Oregon Department of Transportation as part of the bridge replacement project and is also the home of The Waldport Heritage Museum (opened in July 2021).
Experience the rich history of the Waldport area, see unique displays and artifacts, learn about the many bridges along the Oregon coast, and enjoy the views.
The center and museum is staffed by volunteers with the Waldport Chamber of Commerce.

This is now the Waldport Museum. Nice and informative. Volunteers very helpful and welcoming. It’s free with donation box. Only thing that it lacks is a hands on area for kids. Takes roughly 30 minutes or longer to visit. There is a Subway next door. You can get lunch and watch the Bay Area.

This was an unexpected treat for us. Lots of information and historical photos and friendly volunteers to answer questions
You have to visit here if you come to waldport. You will learn all of the history about the land and the people.
The Interpretive Center is an informative and interesting timeline of the Alsea Bridge. Great views out the large windows.
