POINT – Cascades Route

The POINT is a safe, affordable, and environmentally-friendly alternative to long-distance driving in Oregon. POINT’s Cascades Route provides transportation between Portland and Eugene with 3 stops in between.

This route is coordinated with the Amtrak Cascades train service, which connects 18 cities in the Pacific Northwest along a 467-mile route from Eugene to Vancouver, B.C. The top priority of the route is getting passengers to and from the train at Union Station in Portland, but the service is open to the general public and you need not be a train passenger to ride with us.

This route’s modern 51-passenger buses have restrooms, free Wi-Fi, power outlets, air conditioning, space for your luggage and bike, and are wheelchair accessible.

POINT operates four daily routes: Northwest (Portland-Astoria), Cascades (Portland-Eugene), Eastern (Bend-Ontario), and SouthWest (Klamath Falls-Brookings). Find the stop closest to you and start planning your trip on POINT website.
