Perfect Staycation to Enjoy Halloween Fun
Ma Mere’s is a local landmark in our small PNW university town & I’ve always wanted to stay there. We live a few blocks away & stayed on Halloween night so that we could enjoy grand kids trick or treating in downtown Monmouth — just a few steps away. It worked out perfectly and was just the novel & relaxing “staycation” I was hoping for. We love staying in historic lodging around the country and helping preserve the past. The plush robes & clawfoot bathtub were wonderfully relaxing! At 73 and with two artificial knees the beautiful staircase was totally doable. Can’t wait to come back with grandkids & check out another delightful room. Emily and her brother Eli have added so many fun touches to make memories.

Comfortable & convenient.
A friend and I stayed in the Wolf Den two nights to attend a book art conference held at the university. Location was great, we walked to classes and restaurants for dinner. We brought groceries for our breakfast & lunch and conveniently used the refrigerator and dining table for those meals. Another plus was making friends with a MaMere’s guest attending the same conference. The only down side was no shower, the bathtub has a hand held shower system, a bit awkward for my aging body! Would I stay here again, yes.

Very cute and cozy.
We loved MaMere's Guest House and stayed a few nights as a good base to visit the nearby wineries. The owners have done a fabulous job of marrying personality with tradition. Service was lovely and would be a great house to rent out as an entire group.

Lovely place. Very clean and beautiful.
Great place. Eli stayed to let us in after 5:00. Only disappointment is they no longer do breakfast. He discounted our reservation price. Good restaurants in walking distance. Room decor is amaZing. See pics. This would be great as a whole house rental for a family gathering.

MaMere's Guest House is absolutely beautiful. The proprietors have thought of every comfort for their guests. MaMere's is also within walking distance to some great places to eat or have a glass of wine.
