The room was clean & spacious. The tub with jets - awesome. The motel, on the whole seems kind of run down, the restaurant closed. But the sauna & pool are open though we didn’t take advantage of them. The location, above the beach & with a trail down, was spectacular. I would highly recommend this motel. Also, the price is outstanding.

Location, location location!
Location, location, location!! That’s what’s it’s all about. With a fantastic view from each condo ( we’ve stayed in 3 by now) an indoor pool and good food nearby, it’s all a perfect ocean get-away. Staff is friendly and helpful and a shoutout to Simon. 😌 Whatever the weather, if you have an adventurous attitude ; you can enjoy! Sunny weather; beach all day! Rainy, get a walk between the showers or watch the stormy sea from the condo with the fireplace ambiance! Bundle up with hot cuppa, and sit on the balcony to enjoy the crashing waves. The roar is constant and wondrous. Go into town and watch the glassblowing or a get lesson yourself, and then you have some glass art to keep. The glass art is incredibly expensive, but worth a look anyway. Back to condos; Kitchens are great, with the essentials. BUT, you should enjoy dining out as much as possible anyway. There are good seafood places up and down the coast nearby, and you are on vacation, so try not to cook too much! Because you know, that produces dirty dishes, and who wants that!? The units are pleasantly updated in all the important things. Prices to stay here are reasonable. So don’t get all picky about some possible quirks of an older building. It’s been maintained very well, considering the harshness of the coast.

Simply the best of the Oregon Coast
This has been our "go-to" place on the Oregon coast for many years. The condos are always being updated and are well-stocked with everything you need if you want to cook "at home." Close to a grocery store for last minute needs. Between Lincoln City and Depoe Bay, and close to Newport. Lots to do including walking on the beautiful beach; watching the waves roll in in the winter months; relaxing with a fire burning. Heavenly!

Cavalier is great!
Simon and the staff at Cavalier are fantastic - always very welcoming and helpful. The location can’t be beat. The condos I have stayed in are all well stocked a comfortably furnished. Assigned, covered parking is convenient. I always enjoy my stay and as soon as I leave can’t wait to return.

Twice as Nice
This is our second time staying at Cavalier condos and both times have been great experiences. The rooms are very clean and updated and a great view of the ocean beach.
