Had a great stay recently at this Oregon clothing optional resort. Stayed two nights in a park model cabin right across from the pool area after being upgraded from my reserved cabin. Excellent facilities kept in top shape included the pool, hot tub and sauna. Numerous hiking options ranging from easy to somewhat challenging. This was one of the friendliest CO resorts that I have visited as the residents and staff warmly welcomed me and one couple even invited to their cabin for an evening nightcap. I highly recommend this resort if you are ever in this part of the country.
This is one of the friendliest campgrounds/resorts we have ever visited. The visitors and permanent residents will accept you as you are. If you have never visited a nudist resort, this is the one to start with. The resort is clothing optional. This means that you can stay clothed if you prefer. The activities include a swimming pool, hot tub, hiking, sauna, and a large sunning area around the pool. Dances with live bands, restaurant on the weekends. Camping: RV full hookups, tent camping, and small rentals.
I walked into the crafts room which did not open until Saturday. The lady completely ignored me, not even a hello, but when my husband walked in, she gushed over him, "hi there, thank you for coming in". Due to this lady and her attitude, I will not go back. The rest of the employees were nice and friendly.
Willamettans is a clothing optional resort that is located in a beautiful forest area above Springfield, Oregon near the little town of Marcola. It's been here for over 6 decades. The facilities are wonderful for everything from tent camping to full hookup RV spaces to small cabins. The main lodge, pool, hot tub, sauna area is where everyone hangs out. The Fireside bar is very popular in the evenings for drinks, socializing and karaoke. The Cafe is great for breakfast and dinners during the warmer seasons. It's membership runs the resort by extensive volunteerism and the members always make you feel welcome. New people always get a guided tour to familiarize them with the resort and protocols of nudism. Clothing is optional except at the pool, hot tub and sauna. First timers find that the option makes easing into nudity much easier. It's a family resort so great care is taken to make everyone feel safe and secure. We found this place over 5 years ago and loved it so much we became members ourselves. It's our favorite place to be when we're not traveling.
We have visited the Willamettans (aka "Willies") many times over the past ten years or so, and have always stayed in one of the several rental cabins ("bunkies"), which are delightful. For those who are tent campers or RV-ers, there are many spots available at very reasonable rates. Although our cabins feature a kitchen area with oven, stove top, small refer, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and utensils, we always bring a small gas grill for cooking outdoors in the sunshine. The pictures on the website barely (no pun intended) do the club justice--it is beautifully situated up in the hills about ten miles northeast of Springfield, making it an easy run into town to pick up what essentials you might need. The facilities include a wonderful, large pool (with easy "walk in" access), nice hot tub and well-appointed lodge with exercise equipment, pool table, sauna and shower facilities, a children's play area and shuffleboard court. The Willies is member-owned and very well-maintained by volunteer members. The facilities are very clean and well-managed. Whether you're a seasoned nudist, or just looking for the perfect place to try your first clothing-optional experience, we strongly encourage you to visit the Willamettans. There's truly nothing quite as wonderful as spending time in the great outdoors wearing nothing but sandals and sunscreen :-)
