Port Orford RV Village
We spent 3 nights at Port Orford RV Village on our way up the beautiful Oregon coast. We intended to stay 1 night as we were heading back home to Washington. We were met and checked in about dusk by the on duty staff person Gordon who was friendly and engaging. They don't take credit card so it was fortunate that we had our check book along. The next morning we packed up and started down the road and immediately lost power steering before going a block. We turned around and pulled back into our site to investigate the problem. We were greeted by Gordon who then told other RV guests of our situation. Within minutes we had helpful neighbors asking how they could help. The belt tensioner bearings had broke and destroyed the serpentine belt and related parts. A fellow RVer drove me to 2 different parts stores in opposite directions over the next 2 days to get the needed parts and the owners son, Clint was so kind to bring his tools and mechanical skills to make the repairs and get us back on the road again. In the 3 days we spent there it felt like we were a family as we gathered to play games one evening and get better acquainted. We certainly would stop again as the park was clean and the people we met were wonderfully helpful and kind. 5 stars!! The only negative, it would be easier if they took credit cards but I understand there are fees associated with accepting credit. Bruce and Teri from Washington

friendly, well maintained and clean
host is very friendly, older park with 50% month to month rentals, very quiet, very well maintained and clean... gazebo with puzzels and books to borrow, another room with basic exercise equipment and another room with card tables and ping-pong, fish cleaning station, nice laundry and showers.. nicely decorated grounds... did I mention FRIENDLY, WELL MAINTAINED AND CLEAN!!!

Stayed one night while driving north in Oregon. Grounds were maintained well. Nice hostess. Problem was the WiFi and cable tv were not working in pull through site. Could not complain after 5pm so I paid for something I could not use. Maybe I will try it again.

Fantastic owners! Nice lawned areas for everyone. Quiet.
Tim helped me solve a hydraulic jack problem spending time he could have been working on his own projects! Place is a great place to stay and if I am in the area again I will definitely stay there. I would recommend this to anyone that travels
