We went during summer, it was amazing, the lake activities (paddleboard, kayak, jet skis, power boat) were amazing. We were also able to fish and catch some bass, there are activities like dance parties, movies on the beach, smores, bbq, etc that are organized by the owners and they are free to enjoy!! Definitely going back
My daughter, granddaughter and I spent 3 nights in one of the cabins. We had a wonderful stay and will be back. Hardly anyone was there beings school had started. Many local beach activities are near by. We didn't want to leave.
Staying at Mercer lake was the best experience kid friendly and the owner and staffs are very helpful and nice. My 5 yrs old daughter even cry when we have to go back home and so we have to make a plan for her birthday this October. Looking forward to be back at the fall season this place is super relaxing.
Although I was a bit uncomfortable sliding my trailer in amongst the resident mobile home and RV tenants at first, I quickly was reassured that I was welcome and was treated like a valued guest by all, (and the many of the extended family of the proprietors) whom I came in contact with during my short stay. Very homey and comfortably quaint! I bet the cabins are wonderful! Peacefully small and quiet. Perfect for those of you who are nostalgic and appreciative of hospitality on a more personal level.
I have stayed twice at Mercer Lake Resort and enjoyed it so much, I almost hesitated to write this review for fear it would be booked too often. :) If you love classic cabins and a resort with boat rentals within 5 minutes of the ocean, you will love this place.
