Paying for location
Pros: Location across the street from Pacific City Beach, Pelican Brewery, next to public skate park. Kid friendly. Cons: swimming pool cloudy consistently, pool bathrooms with black mold/mildew on ground and walls. Bathrooms near playground with dim lighting and don’t feel clean. With price point would hope for better maintained facilities

Great location but not a great RV park
Also now called Harts Camp. The best part was location to Beach. Right across the street and very easy to get to and the beach was beautiful. The worst part was the actual RV campground. We had a pull through and the trees scraped the side of our trailer because the site was very narrow. The actual worst part though, was the sewers are actually placed right next to your neighbors picnic table. My husband dumped everything on the day we left and the sewer was plugged. It exploded all over the grass and near the table, ( luckily our neighbors were not eating there at the time). Took a while for maintenance to come to unplug it. They said that it had been happening a few times. So needless to say it took us a while to check out and get back on the road. The back in spots seemed a little wider and nicer, but they also had the sewer hook up placed next to your neighbors picnic table. Ick The maintenance person that unplugged it was very nice and professional. He explained that they had new owners and hopefully in a couple of years there was talk about revamping the whole campground. Let’s hope they do.

Marijuana Beach Dump
Why the fake pictures of fish, there is no fishing at this location. No need to get high with marijuana just sit outside. If u have kids whom u prefer not to supervise please go here, they r free to ride bikes through camp sites, scream til 3 am, throw trash on your site, and bring their dogs to crap on your site and leave it. No Rv park rules are enforced. If your rig is over 12’ be prepared to experencei once damage from the monkey puzzle trees they no not trim to accommodate rvs. Don’t plan on extending your awning, it will hit the Rv next to you. There is no limit to the #of people per Rv. We had a family of 2 women 1 male adult and 7 children next to us using trees make shift laundry line tied to the tree on our site. Suffice to say I would not recommend this park dump to anyone.

Disappointed Experience for Our 40th Anniversary Stay
I had high hopes for this stay, having booked The Knapsack, Airstream #8 on October 24, 2024, for our special anniversary trip along the coast, arriving June 18, 2025. My confirmation clearly stated Airstream #8 multiple times, as did follow-up emails. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were assigned Bandana #5—one of my least favorite options when browsing your site. And while it was spotless and clean in the trailer, the previous guest did not clean up after their dog in the yard. While the property itself offered some enjoyable features—like the outdoor shower, miniature golf, and close access to an amazing beach—the overall experience was overshadowed by this unexpected switch. When I inquired at the front desk, I was told the booking system had been reorganized and that in the future I should "specify in the memo" which Airstream I want. Frankly, I don’t know how much clearer I could have been when the trailer I reserved was listed multiple times on the official confirmation. For a stay meant to celebrate our 40th anniversary, this was a major letdown. The trailer we were placed in did not reflect what we had planned and looked forward to for months. I would not recommend this location to others, especially if you’re booking a specific Airstream with care and intention—there’s no guarantee you’ll actually get it.

Avoid if you can.
We stayed one night at Hart's Camp (Oct 4th). It is located across from the Pelican Brewery which is great. Other than that, the park is the worst that we stayed in on our trip. Small spaces, crowded, not clean, poor restroom facilities, difficult electrical hookup, and priced the highest of any place we stayed. I would advise avoiding this park if possible.
