Nice quit resort set in the trees. The resort and area are starting to gear up after corvid. with many restaurants and attractions closed or open on limited schedule. A good central location for exploring the Mt. Hood area.
My stay at Whispering Woods Resort
I loved our time at Whispering Woods Resort! It was beautiful, peaceful and everything was well maintained. The employees were friendly and helpful. It was in a convenient location. .It was the perfect retreat for my family.
Amazing location, clean and comfortable condo
The property and grounds are amazing! The room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed for a week. The only issue we found was that the walls were somewhat thin and we could hear a baby crying next door. Thankfully, a box fan was provided for each bedroom, and this drowned out any noise and we slept comfortably. We came when the weather was cool, but would be concerned in hotter weather, as there is no central a/c. The amenities were good, though we spent most of our time hiking and exploring this beautiful area of Mt Hood. We would definitely recommend this resort and happily stay here again.
Great Condo - Close to Skiing & Restaurants
We had the two bedroom with a loft and it was plenty big! Great location. Less than a mile to restaurants. Make sure to eat at the New Mexican restaurant Chicali Cantina (shrimp tacos!) and their weekend brunch is fantastic. My only wish was that the condo had adult hours for the hot tub. It was full of kids all week. Also their hot tub hours are limited during the week (closes as 6:45), so it’s hard to use after a day of skiing.
Best place on the mountain.
Very nice staff. Very welcoming from the start. There were so many extras throughout like the kitchen with everything needed to cook for our family. The fireplace was cozy and loved having it while snuggling for a movie at night. The view of the forest and beautiful golf course made our day. So much to do with a pool and hot tub and hiking too! I had read there was no air conditioning but noticed our unit did have A/C. Knowing the circumstances of Covid and how many people are gone from work the staff on site was amazing, helpful and kind. Definitely would recommend and can’t wait to come back.
