Wildwood Hotel
Despite being the only people who were staying at the hotel during the 2nd stage of Covid-19, the cafe and bar weren't open yet. The room was clean and tidy with a newly tiled bathroom and a darling little reading cubby that I believe was once a closet. The cleaning lady Katie was a delightful person and said that we were the only occupants for the night and they appreciated our business. I would have loved to have been able to see the other rooms and perhaps in the fall, when everything is open again we will return to this quaint, off the beaten path hotel and staff. Teresa Treadaway

THROW BACK TO THE GOOD OLE DAYZ!
If U read this, U will not believe what I am going to say. I did some time travel back to the 1950's while staying at the Wildwood Hotel. The décor was perfect, even had a TV without a on/off switch. Perfect, and the bed was soft for a good nights sleep. More important was the food in the restaurant. You have not lived until U have enjoyed a slice of the warm home-baked fresh bread smeared with fresh berry jam - - - Perfect! While enjoying your meal be sure to request a glass of Bellingham Bay Water!

An old style country saloon hotel
We stumbled upon this gem whilst travelling from the Oregon coast to Portland. The room is clean and tidy and has a feel of an old style country pub hotel. So much more enjoyable than a faceless hotel. Great local food in the restaurant down stairs too.

Clean Quirky Funky
The room was clean, bed was good (a little high off the floor for an old woman). I enjoyed my stay very much. There are 21 steps with no way to avoid them, had I know that when I reviewed the hotel originally I would not have stayed there. That said , I would stay there again now that I've stayed there. The kitchen could have been cleaner seems like the guests do the cleaning. The tea kettle was not spotless, some of the knick knacks were grimy. I stayed in #3 and even though I was on the second floor I would have liked a shade on the bathroom window. It has a gauzy curtain. I felt a little exposed. Still I would stay again.

Stop to visit family
This is a very unique place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Janelle was great! Has restaurant and bar down stairs. They have live music at different times. The food is good. Good price.
