My room was very clean and liked the placement of the furnishings. The outside of the hotel was clean as well no trash around the building or parking lot. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Valley River Inn Ressurected!
We have been visiting the VRI for over 40 years After the recent damage we worried that the owners would not be able to pull of a redo Our concerns were not needed they hit it out of the park! Can’t wait to return

Perfect airport stay on the way to and from the Redwood National Forest
We were able to get a riverview room for our first night. Eugene is lush and green along the river. We took a walk along the river, across the foot bridge and down across from the inn to the Rose Garden - which was in full bloom with dahlias as well. While out, we phoned in an order for Sweet Waters - the restuarant at the hotel - picked it up and ate our breakfast on our balcony. The adjacent Interstate bridge is a little noisy but the property is a gem. We returned the following weekend before flying out and were able to get another riverview room simply by asking them if there was a change in availability. It was near 100 degrees and too hot to sit outside that night, but honestly the view from inside the glass doors was almost as amazing. Like most hotels, this one had a small selection of tea bags and one type of coffee bags. Staff was very nice. We ate at Sweetwaters four times while coming and going. Food and service were great. Inside is as lovely as the riverside.

Skip the Sweet Water Restaurant, it is too expensive, little choices and still hungry! The Valley River Inn is wonderful and I will always come back with my family, business and friends. The people who work there are very good and friendly. Thank you, looking forward to returning soon!

My Favorite Place to Stay in Eugene-Springfield
The VR Inn is a wonderful hotel with easy access to the freeways (including I-5), restaurants, walking/biking paths, shopping, and more. The have a great pool with loads of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Order food from Sweet Waters and have it delivered to your chair. They also have lots of parking with overflow right across a small lane at the VR Mall.
