Racist hotel workers / rude owner
I believe this place had it in for me after I complained the very first night when I checked in about the parking structure. There was a note about me entered in the computer saying that I am rude to warn the other workers that are going to take over the next shift. All 3 staff member at the front desk could look at. This establishment is ran by the rudest and people I came across not just to me but to my son who is a minor as well. This place has the most inconvenient parking structure I have ever been too. Very small, not enough room for everyone to park. The plumbing is horrible- the shower pipes squeak loud throughout your entire shower, the sinks had hardly any water pressure. The refrigerator made loud noises all throughout the night . You can hear water dripping from the upstairs rooms causing condensation which explains the ceiling and bathroom door that had water damage. You can smell mold over the layers of paint. The ac unit went out over night which made sleep more uncomfortable which was accompanied by the smallest couch throw pillows I’ve seen for overnight stays on a bed. The floor was raising up by the bathroom sink area causing a trip hazard. Horrible out dated rooms, very uncomfortable for anyone to enjoy on a trip. To top it off, Garrett was rude to my son by ignoring him when my son walked in lobby to say good morning and then proceeded to ask where the breakfast was at. All he did was point and not even look up at him - horrible customer service by him , which explains a lot since his general manager Julio wanted to profile me by saying “oh I know your kind“ while trying to recieve a refund since I wanted to check out and not stay there anymore. Management not having great customer service, no respect, being insensitive, racist, rude, and nonchalant is passed down to its employees which explains the behavior that I had to endure. I am the wife who didn’t go on this out of state trip. I called the hotel blocked and Garrett answered the phone. I asked if I could have the number to their corporate office and he said he was unable to provide that information per hotel policy. He then said to call between 8am-3pm M-F to speak to the general manager and hung up the phone. I couldn’t even ask anything. I called back and when he answered I said I believe you hung up on me. In a very rude tone he said “I already told you, you can call back….i cut him off and repeated what he said. I then said what I want to know is the managers name so I know who to ask for when I call back. He again tells me he can’t give me that information. I researched and found out this hotel is owned by ALKO Hotels. General manager is Tina, her husband is VP of ALKO. When she called me she was very rude. Instead of hearing my story and what I had to endure she kept cutting me off, telling me that she believes her employees side of the story and proceeded to say that she had a meeting at 2pm and heard me talking for 5 minutes already so she had to go. I told her this was uncalled for and she needed to have her employees take an ethnics and customer service class. She laughed at me and said she called me as a courtesy and has to go. As I was still talking she spoke over me once again and hung up on me. I will be calling the BBB and Channel 9 news which is local to Eugene, OR. Unless you want to be treated like crap, I suggest you don’t stay at this hotel. I would have rather stayed in the car overnight than to stay at this hotel.

Decent place to stay
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Thank goodness they had blackout curtains because the lights outside the rooms are very bright. Speaking of bright lights, all the lights in the room were also bright, cold white lights. Considering the location, my room was relatively quiet. (Would not expect the same on game weekend.) It was bare bones, but that's pretty much what I expected from a low-cost room. The breakfast was unappealing -- mostly carbs, so I went to Mandy's. The in-room "coffee maker" was a joke. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I was annoyed that they didn't refund my deposit when I checked out, but it was refunded within 24 hours. Judging from a little sign in the room giving prices for pillows, towels, alarm clocks, etc., they probably experience a lot of theft by students visiting for ball games. Overall, okay for an overnight.

Skip it
I'm used to staying at a variety of hotels, motels, and hostels, but this one was by far one of the worst, especially for the price. The room was fairly clean and the beds were comfortable. It was also fairly quiet, all things considered. Breakfast was bare bones, all cold. However, the corners had mold, and the bathroom was horrifying. There was literally smeared blood on the towel rack. I requested the room be cleaned after the first night, and it was still there! The second day, despite my Do Not Disturb sign the cleaning staff came in. Still smears of blood on the towel rack, which indicates they are not actually doing any real cleaning. It shows. Please skip this one, especially if you're paying top price just to be by U of O. It's not worth it.

Ipaid for a room TWICE and Im sleeping outside
I was not allowed to even check in because hotels.com charged my card twice for a single night which exhausted all my funds. So i couldn't pay the $75 deposit for the room i paid for TWICE and staff was not accommodating at all! Rude and inconsiderate. Caitlynn, has no business interacting with the public whatsoever. She knows not what she's doing AT ALL! My last stay 2 weeks ago, i arrived to what looked to be someone's bloody nose leftovers on both pillows. So.. I'd say, stay elsewhere
