Guys this one's for you. If you are someone who pays attention to details and updating, I would find somewhere else.
We were greeted by a friendly fella. He helped us find our space. First impressions of this were the decorating there seems to be hunting paraphernalia everywhere... wood cutting , antlers mounts that kind of thing. It is called the woodsman and I can safely say caters more to men who are hunting. For instance, the toilet seat was handcrafted out of acrylic with large bullets embedded in it. And the bathroom was OK except they really need an updated sink and tub in that space. There's a wall air conditioning unit. They always make more noise than I prefer. We were in an internal room so we didn't hear too much outside noise. But Access was difficult. You can't really park in front of your door for half of the rooms in the "L". We had to step up and go down a hall to get to our door and that was our exterior window view as well the hallway. The ice machine was broke, but they had a second machine that was filled with ice next to it. The bed was pretty tall for short people like us and not good for side sleepers unless you want your shoulders to hurt in the morning. The quilt was in serious need of replacement. There were some nice drawers and chairs to sit in, but in addition to that there is some dated lighting in The microave/coffee pot corner. no breakfast is offered even though the website may say that from the previous owners. The rate was lower than across the street but we tried across the street also and it's a bit nicer, not much but a bit. We walked to the restaurant next-door. It was mostly empty but again friendly people and we got a fried chicken strip onion rings meal, and a salad that was good.

Super Cute Except for the Bugs!
My husband and I stayed there the nights of the 24th and 25th in January 2025. We stayed in Unit 16, which had a hot tub and fireplace. The place was super cute. Was definitely outdated. We appreciate the unique sculptures, photos, and other displays. The room has an apartment size refrigerator and a microwave. A kitchen sink coffee maker. There was no heat in the bathroom, but it was okay if you just left the bathroom door open. Saturday morning, it looked like my husband had two little bug bites on his neck, and they kind of itched a little bit, but we didn't pay too much attention to it. Sunday morning, my husband had bug bite tracks going across the shoulder down his arm and under his chin. When we were checking out, we left a note with a teenage boy who appeared to be the housekeeper. We'd asked him to leave it with the manager. However, he got into a car with his friends and took off. My husband had already scheduled a dermatologist appointment on Monday, and when he saw her, she confirmed they were indeed bug bites, likely bed bugs because of the pattern they left. Unfortunately, because of this, my husband is pretty miserable right now, and we will not be returning to that hotel or any other places owned by the same individual or group. It's a bit sad because we had initially hoped to make this trip more often to the same hotel once we saw our room!

Beware of scam!!
I booked a room for one night at this hotel through Expedia. Cancellation confirmed at 0€ by Expedia Despite this, the hotel debits my credit card every month for the amount of one night And the hotel claims to have debited nothing. Thieves, to flee

Two Nights, Two Different Rooms, Two Great Stays!
My husband stayed in the "budget room" and the next week, we stayed in a "regular" room. Both were good rooms. Clean, charming decor, reasonable rates, and convenient for our purposes. Bed was very comfortable, something we can rarely mention. As we have an ill family member in that area, we will be making more trips over and plan to stay there.

Worst ever. Nasty
Horrible run away from this place I let the manager know I was having issues and he ignored me and the new owner is very unaccomadating.. Recesses to give me back my money.. What happened to the lovely lady that used to open this place?
