Excellent 5 stars all the way around.
What people don't know there is the old hotel and the new hotel. Old hotel is usually cheaper and is where the truckers passing through stays at. The new hotel is much more modern and upscale. I've also stayed in the jacuzzi room and that is really nice as well. I have been going to jubitz ever since I was 7 years old. The food is pricey but very good. The service is excellent and the rooms has always been cleaned.

Great place for my five night stay
I was in Portland as an official for a golf tournament and wanted to be close to the golf course. As I was alone I did not need anything fancy and the Portlander fit the bill. It is just off Interstate 5 and not far from the airport and 5 minutes to the golf course. It is somewhat dated but the rooms are clean and have a flat screen TV, microwave and small refrigerator. It was rather hot in Portland but the air conditioning worked very well. The complex includes the hotel, a grill, a 24 hour restaurant, cocktail lounge, deli and a laundromat. The area is industrial and this appears to be part of a truck stop. Truck parking is some distance from the hotel and I did not notice any noise in that regard. The hotel staff is very friendly and I was greeted every time I walked through the lobby. On returning home I noticed a charge mistake on my receipt and emailed the hotel to have it corrected. I received a phone call within a few minutes from the hotel general manager and the issue was quickly corrected. This is probably the best customer service I have ever received in all my travels.

Truck Stop Lodging
This is basically a roadside motel for truckers, located at a truck stop. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and I couldn't hear people in the adjacent rooms - those are all the positives. The place felt a bit dated, like 1985. If you only need a place to sleep, it did the job. But there's nothing nearby and it's in sort of a strange industrial area.

Terribly Misleading
The photos online are terribly misleading. The website it looks like a good/ clean hotel but upon arrival we noticed it was a truck stop. Which they keep out of the pictures. We decided to try it and stay the night in spite of the horrible smell of the hotel and location. In the middle of the night we were awakened by the loud Trucks stopping and honking. We decided to leave with the little sleep we were getting. Would never come back here again. I hope this review helps others not waste there time coming here with the misleading pictures and reviews. I wouldn’t even give this place one star.

Misleading information on website
We felt it was misleading information on their web site saying it was 4 miles from the Portland International Airport but was really 7.1 miles. The Website forgot to mention that the location is in an industrial area and a truck stop. The hotel shuttle took almost 1 hour to pick us up after we called. When we checked in we were informed the shuttle wouldn't be running at 5:30 am when we needed a ride back to the airport. Thus we hired an Uber for an additional $20+ The accommodations are in need of some updates & probably a good deep cleaning. The picture on the website looks much nicer than what we found. Because of this, we canceled our return trip & booked at another hotel.
