Escape to The Ocean Lodge and take a nostalgic trip into yesteryear when life was less complicated. This hotel reminds guest of a 1940’s vintage beach resort with large wrap-around verandas and unobstructed views of the beach perfect for sunset gazing. The lobby welcomes guests with the warmth of massive Douglas fir beams and beautiful reclaimed and repurposed hardwood floors, all of which are anchored by a massive two-story river-rock wood-burning fireplace. Upstairs, a library with its own fireplace is filled with modern and classic literature for our guests to enjoy, and there are always fresh hot beverages and home-baked cookies awaiting our guests. This is beach living at its best.

We had a nice stay. Very chill place to stay. Middle of hotel and upper floor offers best view. The location out of the fray is a plus. The breakfast is above average. Nice they offer a free wine and snack service each evening. Another nicety is free transportation to/from central Cannon Beach. Walk to beach, shopping, pubs and cafes.

Excellent location and very welcoming staff. Included amenities - breakfast, Happy Hour, and Nite Cap were great added touches - and also the thoughtful snacks and sweet treats. Looking forward to returning!

Our stay at Ocean Lodge in Cannon Beach was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warm, friendly staff who went out of their way to make every detail special. What truly sets this place apart are all the thoughtful perks included with your stay. We loved the cozy beach bonfires in the evening—it was such a unique and relaxing way to end the day. The fresh-baked cookies were a delightful treat, and the wine happy hour added an extra touch of charm and hospitality. It felt like there was always something special waiting for us. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach with stunning views that made every morning and evening feel magical. Whether we were walking along the shore or simply enjoying the scenery, it couldn’t have been more perfect. Ocean Lodge combines comfort, charm, and exceptional service in a way that makes you never want to leave. We can’t wait to come back!
