Our toilet was stopped up 2 mornings in a row. Water flooded the bathroom floor. Called the front desk around 6am the first day and a plunger was dropped off outside our door. The plunger was worthless in solving the problem. Hotel maintenance came by after 8 to solve the problem. Same problem occurred the next morning. Avoid room 321. We were offered drink compensation and then a dinner compensation. No thanks. Not enough considering the stopped up toilet and messy bathroom.

Great stay!
I just wrapped up a week at The Newberry Hotel Bend, and its location right in the heart of downtown made it the perfect home base. I loved being able to walk to the Deschutes River and local breweries daily, and the recent "mountain-chic" renovations made the room feel fresh and upscale. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and having an indoor hot tub to soak in after a day of hiking was a huge plus.

The Newberry is a great place to stay
Love visiting Bend and the Newberry makes it even better. The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the area and things to see and do. Found the bed and pillows to be comfy and everything very clean. Would visit again and again as well as recommend to family and friends.
