The location of the hotel is very convenient to the downtown area. Walk across the highway to grab coffee, dinner or shopping. The outside of the hotel looks a little older but the rooms appear to be remodeled. We stayed upstairs in room #9. Room was clean, wood floors. The bathroom contained a toilet & shower. The shower leaked a bit because the curtain wasn't fitting properly, but otherwise it was nice. The sink was located in the bedroom area. There was a fridge in the room too.

We recently stayed at The Inn at Old Town and found the hotel to be exceptionally clean and newly renovated. The couple who refurbished the property did a fantastic job—it’s contemporary, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing. However, despite these positives, there were several issues that made our stay less than ideal, and unfortunately, we cannot recommend it. The in-room coffee maker was a major disappointment. It was a single-cup model that produced something closer to weak tea than coffee, and only two single-serve pods were provided. To make matters worse, there’s no coffee available in the office or a lobby area, so if you're someone who enjoys decent coffee in the morning, you'll need to either bring your own coffee maker or drive to find some. The creamer was a packet of powdered whitener, which didn’t help matters. Another significant issue was the heating system. It was incredibly loud, turning on and off all night like something from an airplane hangar. We ended up turning it off just to get some sleep. The mini-refrigerator in the room was also noisy, adding to the disturbance. The TV situation was similarly frustrating. It only had Roku, which was difficult to navigate, as mentioned in other reviews. While we didn’t come to the coast to watch TV, it would have been nice to have something more user-friendly without needing assistance from the staff. Lastly, for those with mobility concerns, be aware that if you're assigned a top-floor room, you’ll have to climb several flights of stairs as there’s no elevator. While we appreciate the cleanliness and the effort that went into the renovation, the combination of no decent coffee, poor sleep due to the loud heater and refrigerator, and a frustrating TV setup made our stay challenging. Hopefully, these issues can be addressed for future guests.

Nice hotel with friendly owner
We just stayed one night after driving down the Oregon coast on our way to Crater Lake National Park. The owner checked us in and was very friendly and gave us a good dinner recommendation. Our room was a good size and very clean. It included a fridge and coffeemaker, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom and shower area were a bit small, but the room had lots of outlets for our electrical devices. Breakfast is not provided, and we left before the office opened in the morning. We were disappointed all the Old Town stores closed by 5:30 pm, even in the busy tourist season.

The room was clean and the location is right in town and for these 2 reasons I give this establishment 3.5 stars instead of 3 but since there's not a 3.5 star option I felt 4 would be too high. The receptionist was polite. They serve a continental brown bag style breakfast from 6-8 AM . You have a choice of, coffee, bagel, cream cheese, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, fruit and some sweet breads. There's a small seating area in the lobby or you can take it to your room. The one draw back that I was surprised about is that our room didn't get cleaned so no fresh towels, emptied trash bins or fresh coffee for the Keurig machine. It's an average stay with nothing really special to get me to rebook the next time I'm there. The price for 2 nights I felt was a little high.
