We stayed in Seaside several nights. At the end of our stay we weren’t quite ready to go home & decided to go to Tillamook, so I hopped back onto Expedia, checked reviews & booked us 1 night at Terimore. There were many positive reviews & website photos looked decent. I should have also checked reviews on Yelp & Tripadvisor. 1st of all, it’s not in Tillamook, it’s in Netarts. The area gave us both creepy vibes but neither of us said anything. We arrived too early to check in so we drove back to Tillamook to get something to eat, then drove back to check in. I do NOT recommend this place AT ALL. The room being outdated was one thing, but it was NOT CLEAN. There was garbage in the trash can in the bathroom, dirt and garbage behind one of the nightstands, dirty and grimy in between the counter and fridge and the extension cord wrapped in (masking?) tape looked like a fire hazard. There were dead flies and dirt in the window frame. We did not unpack but hung out for about 20 minutes, trying to decide if we were too tired to just drive home or stay. We finally set the key on the table and drove home. If I could give a MINUS 0 I would. I took several photos but should have taken more. We will definitely NOT be back. I used to clean hotel rooms for a living, and I would have been completely ashamed if that had been my standard of cleanliness for someone paying to stay in a room. Not to mention I would have been FIRED! Also, I've just resubmitted my review to Expedia for the FIFTH time, having removed most of what I've written here. And it likely will get kicked back again. I guess they don't like honest, negative reviews?

September 26, 2025Judy KNice location, but needs some tlc
The room was clean but a little shabby. Nice, quiet location. Nice sitting area outside to enjoy the view of the ocean. Towel rail was detached from the wall. The door skin in the bathroom was delaminating from moisture. The floor in the main room was very worn and discolored. The mattress edges were broken down from guests sitting on them. Very clean, though.

Fantastic Location and Views but Poorly Maintained
The location and views at the Terimore are wonderful. The fantastic beach is below the property reached by some steep stairs. This is an older property that has not been updated. It is understandably a bit funky, but it is also not well maintained. I would stay here again due to the location, but I can't give it a strong recommendation due to the poor maintenance.

Unsafe and uncomfortable!
Unsafe and uncomfortable Very worn out and broken down - smoke detector has been remove, faulty wiring, no lock on sliding door, no manager or staff onsite after 8 pm Terrible bathroom with stained tub, no plug, no nonslip mat. Soap dispenser ripped off wall. No blackout curtain or shade only some dirty looking sheers. So you’re awake at 5:00 am when the sun comes up. Only thing positive was the view outside of the lodging. Never again and would not recommend to anyone
