Nice Little Respite
Great little surfer vibe motel. Great location. Close to water. No AC so sleep with windows open. Traffic noise not bad if you use the white noise machine in the room. Bikers leaving at 5:30 a.m. were hard to mask with white noise.

Impressive Super8. So clean & comfortable. The modern furnishings were appreciated. Spacious room. Ideal position to go out in the evening. (Couple mins walk) Friendly staff. Parking included just off US 101 great location to get to. Perfect stay for Florence.

Great for the price
My last experiences with Super 8, a while back, were less than stellar, so I didn't have high hopes here, but everything was acceptable or better. A very spacious room, solid bathroom and amenities, very clean, and helpful staff around the clock. If you're heading up or down 101 and just need a place to stop over, this is just fine.

Pleasantly Surprised by this Super 8
I’m usually a mid-range hotel person (Hampton Inn) and avoid super 8 when traveling. Choices were limited for Florence and we only needed a comfortable clean room for one night while traveling the Oregon Coast. I trusted reviews here on TA, and booked the stay. The military rate couldn’t be beat. We were given a two queen room on the first floor (requested 1st floor, no elevator). First thing I do anytime I get into a hotel room is check cleanliness and A/c….cleanliness was good, but there was no AC. I was upset at first, but it was late and it was cool outside. We opened a window for a while, then closed it up and used the oscillating fan in room. Room temperature was perfect and so comfortable to sleep, beds were comfortable and we rested well. The place has been updated in many ways, but furniture was older and somewhat worn. There was a smart mirror over vanity, but bathtub was newer and had a great massage shower head, hot water and great water pressure. Dove brand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Fridge was not cold when we arrived, but it wasn’t on. It worked fine but took a while to cool down (they should be left on). A really modern amenity offered was free EV charging right in front of our room, which was appreciated for our hybrid rental. Get there early if you need it because parking is limited. The whole property was a mix of old and new. In many ways it felt like a motel from the 60’s with a few modern touches. Breakfast is very limited to a small counter in the office with grab and go items. Coffee, muffins, yogurt, fruit, and oatmeal packets. It was enough for us to grab and eat once we hit the road, and coffee was decent. Surprisingly, I would stay here again. Don’t let the franchise name put you off! I was pleasantly surprised by this property.
