Bait and switch. Far from ocean and NO view right next to the office.
Bait and switch. They make it sound like all the rooms have ocean views. They gave us a room with no view of the ocean. What good is a patio with nothing to look out on. Ocean access was a couple blocks away and then you had to climb down 9 sets of steps. If you have mobility issues forget about it. The beds were the worst. Sounded like creaky boards holding both of them together. Not enough towels. The whole place was run down. One of the most expensive rooms we got on the Oregon coast.

Poor, outdated room
Not as the property photographs show. This accommodation trades on its location for sunset views but in our experience, the rooms do not merit staying there. Our room was old, tired, appeared grubby, wood clad and with barely any room to put a bag down. The carpet was old and sticky, I dared not go barefoot. The wall vents were stained and the insect screens rusty. The bathroom was like something out of the 1970’s. There were no shelves or cabinets alongside the bed to put anything on. There was only one chair, in a room clearly for two people. The room door was a large window that opened directly onto the walkway between rooms, so there was nowhere outside to sit. Perhaps we just go the cheapest room option available? There may be better rooms. The breakfast the next day was pretty appalling, frozen bagels, sugary cereals and poor yoghurts. Definitely would not recommend

Exceeded my expectations
The facility and location exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely return. With that said, I traveled with my dog and so was given a dog friendly room (#221). Unfortunately it had carpet on the floor, and stains. I reported it, and was told that their housekeeping staff will take care of it. I hope at some point the old carpet in the dog rooms will be replaced with vinyl flooring. Again, I was overall very pleased and will definitely return.

HORRIBLE!
Our "oceanfront" room had on sliding glass door facing the parking lot, cars were parked 3 feet from our door. Room had no windows, so when you pulled the privacy sliding blind you were in a dark cell, and you had to pull it because bed was right there next to slider. And the room wasn't "rustic" it was OLD. Wires hanging from TV, small power strips used for everything. But the grossest part of our one night stay was the hairs, HAIRS, all over the pillows! There is NO WAY the linens were changed before our stay. Disgusting! Bathroom was old with vanity next to bed not in bathroom. Talked to woman at front desk, no refund, no discount, no nothing! NEVER, NEVER, AGAIN!

Bed Bugs!
I spent one night in this motel, arriving late and leaving early. The day after I left I woke up (after a red-eye flight) with many bed bug bites on my arms, legs, and back: so many that I consulted my doctor.
