Great base for a stay in Redmond
We spent a couple of nights here during a recent trip to Redmond. The location was good, right across the road from a Walmart Supercenter and commercial district which included all kinds of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Plenty of free parking as well. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, a bit bigger than standard hotel rooms. All the mod cons were available including a good heater, fridge, microwave, TV and good internet. The bathroom was large and could easily handle 2 people at once. The elevator was a bit on the slow side but there were only 3 floors to the hotel so no big deal. The free breakfast was decent with a good variety of hot and cold dishes including a selection of fresh fruit. Check-in and check-out were super easy and all the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We were going to use the gym but the multigym weight machine was out of order. The only other equipment there was a couple of cardio machines. Disappointing! Overall we had a really good stay and would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

Worst hotel I’ve stayed at- health hazard
Absolutely criminal, reeks of cat urine and feces to the point that it made me physically ill. The room is a biohazard. They refused to give the room we booked (king bed) due to discrimination against disabilities. The walls were so thin, did not get a wink of sleep due to noise. You could not pay me to stay here again. There are many better hotels in the area for cheaper. The front desk is smoking cigarettes on a non smoking property- it’s just a mess. I can’t believe other people rated it well.

Missing Items
We left a few items in our room, called a few hours after leaving, and were told no items were found in our room. When we asked to talk to a manager, we were told he was on “vacation.” We could have easily been able to come back and pick up the items if protocol had been followed.

Overpriced and underdelivered
On the surface this hotel has everything you need, big beds that seem new, t.v.s that still get cable, a complimentary breakfast, but in fact, we had enough issues that I cannot recommend staying in this overpriced hotel. The main issue for us was the lack of housekeeping. The policy is to clean every third day unless requested. So, I requested additional housekeeping and was told that it was impossible because the hotel was full. The result was a pile of towels on our bathroom floor (because they will give you additional towels), overflowing garbage, and an impossible to smooth rumpled bed. It doesn't feel very restful or serene. When I told the manager of my concerns at checkout (the first time we saw him over the holiday weekend), his response was "that shouldn't have happened". But it did! Other issues for us were horrible pillows, a too hard bed, and very thin walls. With the exception of the person who checked us in and the apologetic manager, the rest of the staff was downright surly. Redmond doesn't have a lot of choices, especially on the north side of town, and the prices here are quite high. When I pay such a premium price, I expect to get the service and comfort I am paying for. That did not happen.

Okay
It was fine. Nice high ceilings in the room but parking was tricky hauling a camper and dog cost an extra $25 for one night. Of course, it’s hard to find that info when you book online. At least the rooms were set back from the busy road so helped reduce road noise.
