A Perfect End to an Epic Road Trip!
This was our last stop on an epic road trip, and it absolutely delivered! My 18-year-old had been looking forward to this destination, and it did not disappoint. The hotel room was much bigger than expected, and we appreciated the complimentary coffee, pastries, and oatmeal in the lobby. The highlight of our stay? A surprise game room across the street with pool, poker, and foosball—it was an unexpected gem and so much fun! The town itself has such a cool vibe, and I truly hope it becomes a hot tourist spot. It really deserves the attention. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

A TREASURE! Sleep sweetly in this Remarkable HISTORIC Property
What a TREASURE! Dave and Scott (proprietors) have lovingly taken this historic property in the middle of a Western ghost town and are beautifully renovating it. The property has a great and grand history as a saloon, meeting place, and rooming house when this area was bustling and shipping over 5 million lbs of wool from the surrounding ranches and farms at the turn of the century. The rooms are clean and crisp with very comfortable pillows and beds. The bathroom amenities generous and they serve a lovely continental breakfast. The ceilings are high and the "saloon" even has a walk in safe made by the Diebold Lock and Safe Company. In the lobby there is plenty of sitting room and even a games/checker table made from rough-hewn wood and a wine barrel. They have captured this "period hotel" perfectly and were so welcoming and kind. The area is quiet and we slept so well.

Happy to have it operating again.
Great staff, available all day. Excellent condition, like-new bathrooms, very clean. Superb Wifi, very high speeds at all times. A wonderful experience, will stay again. I’ve been waiting for years to have the hotel open again, and finally it is.

Skip it.
This is surpassed to be a ghost town hotel, but it was decorated like your grandma's house in the 1980's. My wife and I booked 2 nights here on a whim for our anniversary. We showed up at the front desk and the front desk person asked us if we had eaten yet. We stated we had not and she basically told us we were out of luck as the closest food was 30 minutes away. No vending machines, no gas station nearby, nothing.... She then told us we were the only ones staying at the hotel that evening, so when she left in a bit she would just lock the front doors behind her... Weird. The 'breakfast area' is what used to be the saloon in the hotel I think. It is currently under construction. bare studs exposed... This hotel is priced like a nice hotel, but I have definitely stayed at nicer motels with more amenities at less than 1/2 the cost.... Out side of the hotel, yeah, there are some super old buildings. And some single wides.... The little museum is worth 5 minutes of your time...
