The VIEW says it all

What a VIEW! This place is always CLEAN, has a BASIC kitchen set up. It's very QUIET if you go off season. BEDS are comfy (if you're not on the hide-a-bed). There's nothing fancy except that ocean front view. Best time to go: fall or winter, less crowds & less cost. No pets. Walking distance to coffee, restaurants & shops & galleries. Many units have small gas fireplaces. Sunsets all year long (weather permitting).

Perfect stay at Schooner's Cove

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Schooner's Cove and would happily stay again! They have just completed room renovations, and I found the room to be very comfortable, extremely clean and exactly what I needed for a solo retreat. The kitchen was perfect for eating meals in during a very stormy week and the floor-to-ceiling windows in my lofted one-bedroom suite provided the perfect view, especially when the weather was too awful to walk on the beach. The bedding was comfy and lush feeling, the furnishings were all brand-new and tastefully chosen, and the staff were lovely. Location is perfect as well. Added bonus - a small group of elk playing (yes, playing!) on the beach right in front of the hotel before wandering up to the lawn and shrubs right outside my room. 100% recommend!

Charming Inn right on the beach.

The views were amazing! The room was charming, clean and cozy, located on a quiet part off the beach not far from Haystack rock. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already making plans to come back to this charming Inn.

THE place to stay

We have stayed at this Inn for the past 15 years to celebrate our anniversary. (#43 this year) The staff are very friendly, plenty of parking, clean rooms, comfy beds, full size fridge and dishwasher. Has a small stove and microwave too. Gas fireplace and balcony overlooking the ocean. Since we stay multiple nights these are all appreciated. This year we were pleased to see they had all new furniture and they were very comfortable. It is awesome that they are in walking distance of all the shops and galleries.

Great staff, location, room

We’ve stayed here something like 6 times. The staff is great, and helped with an early check-in. We really like the beds, and the gas fireplace, and being able to walk directly out onto the beach. Wish our room (king studio) had a refrigerator. Location is great. 1 1/2 blocks to the center of town. This stay we had a added treat - we woke up to two male elk on the grass right in front of our unit!.
