Cannon Beach Pleasant Stay

Having never stayed at Schooner’s Cove Inn before, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. The rooms were very clean and well organized. The first night we stayed in a room on the first floor. We were offered the same king bedroom suite on the second floor for our next 2 nights. Both rooms were very nice. The prices were very reasonable for this time of year. The rooms had moderate kitchens so that you could cook anytime you felt like it. We ate out during the 3 nights we were there. The Inn is close to many restaurants which is a plus for the location.

Stormy, but nice Birthday getaway!

We arrived on a very stormy day and Schooners got us into our room by 1:00pm a little early! We stayed in Queen in front living area and king bed in bedroom with kitchenette. Top floor! Keeping the room number to ourselves, do not want it to be overused. The view was absolutely stunning! It was a nice stay for my 50th bday celebration! We stayed in this room for 3 nights, unfortunately we had to move to room 53 which was a smaller king deluxe room with ocean view! We were not too happy with the cleanliness of this room, bed was uncomfortable, and bathroom was very dirty! This room has been rundown for sure! Needs some tender loving care! We had to move because they did not have the room we were in available. Anyhow all in all the first room which both were on top floor was the best room! We will be back but would not stay in a king deluxe room unless they were remodeled with new furniture, carpet and bed.

Can't get closer to the ocean than this!

I love this hotel. I've stayed here twice, two years in a row. It is right on the ocean and there is no better way to sleep than with the sound of the ocean. The location is convenient for walking all over Cannon Beach, and the kitchenette makes meals easy if you don't feel like eating out. I can't wait to go back!

Wonderful Getaway

I have stayed here many times over the years and have never been disappointed. The rooms are basic although nicely decorated with a fitting beach motif. The ocean views are amazing you won't want to miss the sunset! Everyone on the staff is very kind and helpful. The location is very walkable with the beach and shops of Cannon Beach just a few steps from your door. They have added an elevator but I prefer using the stairs in happy memories of when my children were young and we lugged our suitcases and groceries up to our room that has a charming little cooking area. Schooner's Cove is lovely whether it is a vacation with family, an anniversary or even a solo getaway!
