Favorable location for being close to downtown, OHSU tram, Zoo, OMSI, yet having green space with birds, flowers, trees, water views, safety. We requested a room with a river view which was limited but nicer than facing the parking lot or frontage roads. Quiet and serene. Staff are professional and helpful. Breakfast servings are varied & generous, vegan and vegetarian food available.

I would not recommend staying at the River Edge Hotel. The lack of security in and around the property is extremely concerning, especially considering guests are required to pay for parking. There appears to be little to no monitoring of the parking area, and during my stay my vehicle was broken into and personal items were stolen. What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of empathy or professionalism from management. No one reached out to follow up, offer assistance, or show any concern about the situation. For a hotel charging guests for parking, there should absolutely be better security measures in place. On top of that, the hallways smelled strongly of mold and cigarettes, making the overall environment feel neglected and poorly maintained. Between the unsafe parking situation, poor customer service, and unpleasant facilities, I would strongly recommend staying somewhere with secure, monitored parking and better accommodations instead of the River Edge Hotel.

Nice and quiet
This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel over the past couple of years. Wonderful quiet location overlooking the river. While neighborhood isn’t particularly walkable, for us the very quiet location is splendid. Parking is extra, but at least they don’t have a “resort” fee. Only slight downside are the breakfast options. Staff is terrific!

I wish I had gotten the name of the front desk person (checked in at 5:30pm on Wednesday, young woman with dark hair) was VERY nice!!! Our room vas very clean, thanks to Elisa. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent
Loved it. First time to a Tapestry Collection. This property was remodeled 3 years ago and I could tell. Everything was immaculate. The bathroom was clean and lovely. We loved our room. Very comfortable bed, linens and pillows. And no overpowering scents anywhere. Great location for OHSU and a beautiful path right next to the river. Parking was easy and the staff was there to help!
