Old and rundown, stay at Shiloh next door
I was greeted by the most awful and headache inducing "bug fumigation" smell upon entering the room. I knew the hotel was booked solid and there were no other rooms, so I did my best to mitigate the smell by running the fan and opening the door, and emptied a can of air neutralizer in the room that I purchased at CVS. I also thankfully had brought an additional fan with me that I ran 24/7. By day 4 the smell was still there. I did receive a small discount after notifying the front desk at check-out and received free coffee. I'll still never return here. The room was not clean - the corners of the bathroom had dust or bugs in them. Two of my party in different rooms reported a giant spider in her sink and dirty/sweaty pillows.

As advertised - Nice river view rooms
Location was convenient and easy access to the 97. We liked the restaurant and bar, which had good food and drink options, however we did wish the bar stayed open a little later. We also enjoyed the short walk over to McKays Cottage, one of our favorite breakfast spots. Good access to some hiking trails in close proximity. Fitness center was nice, clean and had enough equipment and space for some exercise. Outdoor pool was closed but we did use the indoor pool and hot tub. Steam room was very dirty and smelled moldy, to the point that we decided to not use it. Overall a pretty good experience at a reasonable price.

This hotel needs to be updated.
This hotel is in desperate need of upgrades, especially for the price. My room was not clean and had a terrible mildew smell. Fortunately I could open the sliding door to get some fresh air but it was ground level so I was not comfortable leaving it open for long. The conference food was also terrible, and when I tried to go the currents restaurant I was essentially ignored and decided to go somewhere else after 10 minutes. I will not be staying here again.

Loved the Riverhouse Lodge!
I stayed at Riverhouse Lodge many years ago and was eager to return. The setting on the Deschutes River is beautiful and the hotel rooms and restaurant are top notch.

Good experience but way too expensive.
The overall experience was fine but the $10/night parking fee was ridiculous. Money grubbing! There was no where else to park but ob hotel property.
