Please realize this review is based on a one night stay. The good…the motel is based in a very nice location within easy walking distance of a main business district. Easy and plentiful parking. The room was a good size and nicely kept up. The bad…there is no air conditioning, I can’t imagine staying here in the summer. When we got up and tried to shower, the water faucet would not work. I had to go to the front desk and the very nice lady came to our room with the needed tools to take apart the faucet and get the shower flowing. It was very evident that this wasn’t the first time. The breakfast area is tiny, it is expected that you take your breakfast across the parking lot back to your room. The breakfast food and coffee were OK at best. I expect more from a Wyndam.

We stayed here for a night as it is in an excellent location for visiting the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area (a must see!). The room was clean and spacious and we had a river view. The shower was excellent. Florence itself is a charming place. Would recommend the hotel particularly if visiting the dunes. Ask for a river view room.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a room overlooking the river where we watched seals, great blue herons, and great egrets. Anything we needed, they were happy to comply. Breakfast was good too. The location is perfect for walking to Old Town. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great location and comfortable rooms in Florence!
Located just feet away from the Siuslaw River, the view and ambiance are wonderful. We enjoyed our first floor river view room, watching wildlife and small boat traffic. Just a 2 block walk from historic Old Town and all those many restaurants and shops. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Large private parking lot. Hot breakfast included, although 1st floor seating is very limited, and who wants carry a tray and coffee up a flight of stairs. Our room was clean and fresh. All the usual in-room amenities provided including coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, and lamps with multiple power outlets for charging your electronics. The shower provided good pressure and very hot water. This is an older property which has been renovated, and some wear is evident on the stuffed chair arms, but everything was very comfortable, especially the King bed. We could hear foot falls from the second floor room above, and plumbing noises from running water, but the room was quiet at night. One potential issue is the noise from nearby bridge traffic, especially as heavy vehicles pass over the metal grating on the drawbridge. A previous reviewer tipped us off, though, and we secured a room (#109) as far as possible from the bridge. From our room we could hear bridge traffic but it didn't disturb our sleep. I recommend this moderately priced lodging when you visit Florence. Location, location, location.

Nice hotel with breakfast!
The room was nice and clean as well as the bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The hotel offered a breakfast of scrambled eggs, link sausages. There also had fruit and coffee and tea. My only complaint is our room was on the side that is near the bridge and as the vehicles drove over it was noisy. We did get used to as the evening went by line white noise, but it might annoy some.
