There are excellent hotels near the Portlznd Airport - this is NOT one of them. Avoid this property, you will be glad you did. This is an "independently owned hotel". So WHEN you have problems or issues NO ONE CARES. 2. The photos provided by the property are DECADES old. They dont come even close to accurately showing the current decrepit and SEEDY condition of the property. There are homeless transients lingering in the area. Significant security issues. 3. The front desk staff at this property are RUDE, DISMISSIVE, and Attitudinal. Management needs to go to a better grade of Trailer Park to recruit its staff! 4. Roughly HALF of this property is Non ADA compliant. So, if you,have mobility issues - they DO NOT CARE 5. And finally, what is NOT mentioned is the insane level of NOISE. My room was literally FEET from the runway at Portland International. The window glass in my windows sometimes vibrate and rattle!

Great place!
Great hotel! Warm, friendly staff. Clean, cozy rooms. No issues whatsoever! I felt comfortable leaving my car for 10 days while on vacation. The shuttle took us promptly to the airport for our morning flight to Orlando. I would highly recommend Red Lion Hotel!

Undisclosed and mandatory extra fees for parking ($10 per vehicle per night) and pets ($15 per animal per night). John, the balding desk attendant with a laughable comb-over was also condescending and rude. On top of those unpleasant surprises, this is also the worst Red Lion I’ve ever stayed at. The A/C barely worked, the hallway smelled like marijuana, the exterior doors weren’t secured, and the gated parking lot is terrible for large vehicles or those with trailers. Do better, Jon and Red Lion. :(

Excellent customer service
Service was amazing! The gentleman at the front desk was so friendly! We checked in late at night, and as we walked into the hotel noticed my daughter’s suitcase wheel was broken (we were flying out the next morning). He went above and beyond finding us tools to fix the wheel so we could continue on our trip with all wheels in tact! Helpful getting our shuttle and getting us to our room to prep for our early morning flight. Thank you!
