Excellent customer service!
We spent the night at the Red Lion Hotel before our flight to Orlando. Our stay was for the night of March 4, 2024. We were in room 140. Shortly after checking in my husband noted that the corner of his month started to swell. This has happened twice in the past with no warning. We do not know what causes this inflammatory response. The swelling continued after we had moved our suitcases into our room. Since I did not have any Benedryl, I went to the front desk. Tina was the evening manager. She stated that although the hotel did not have any pharmaceuticals to purchase. There was a 7-11 close by and perhaps the airport shuttle bus that was waiting for pick up calls would be willing to drive me to the 7-11 before he received a call from someone at the airport waiting to be picked up! The driver, Kent, was willing and since it was after 10:30PM and raining hard he waited while I purchased the Benedryl (less than 5 minutes). While I made my purchase, Kent received a pick-up call. I rode with him to the airport to pick-up returning passengers, before returning to the Red Lion, so that the customer pick-up was NOT delayed! By the time that I returned to my husband, his face was swollen around his mouth, and almost to his eyes!! The Benedryl stopped the active swelling within minutes and saved our trip to Orlando. I am VERY grateful to both Tina and, especially Kent, for going out of their way to help a customer!!

Unreliable service
Don’t rely on their shuttle service. I called before making reservations to ensure that they had 24-hour shuttle service . We were told upon arrival that the shuttle was full (there are only 10 seats on the shuttle and it services 3 hotels). They made no offer to help in any way. They said “take the 3:20am shuttle or call an Uber.” They didn’t offer to pay for the Uber and did not care about us needing transportation.

Better to go anywhere else
Worst-case type place the whole place smells like they are breeding ferrets and the shower only had to settings super hot or cold wouldn't stay again if you paid me. Plus you have to pay to park at this place.

Horrible
We had booked a room weeks in advance while also paying for park and fly services. We got in late with our two twin toddlers and were given a room in a hallway under construction. Paper on the floor, and woke up to bangs and furniture piled around out door, wet paint on the floor leading to the lobby. We got into the room with cranky babies after long flights home to find both beds headboards missing and a splintered board with nails and staples protruding out in its place. Making it unsafe for the babies to be in the beds or adults being able to sit up against the wall. The tub stopper was broken making it difficult to give babies a bath. We put plastic down to hold the water and made due. The fridge had old leftover old food left inside. That next morning we talked to the front desk staff who apologized and we're told the manger would be calling and would make it right, or possibly discount the room. No call, no follow up so I'm leaving this review, don't stay here!

Workers goes above and beyond to help customers
My room at the Red Lion was comfortable and well-appointed. The furnishings had a classic charm, and the attention to detail in the decor didn't go unnoticed. The bed was exceptionally cozy, offering a great night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. One minor gripe I had was that the room was a bit smaller than I anticipated, but given the overall quality, it wasn't a major issue.
