DO NOT STAY HERE UNSAFE CONDITIONS AND NEGLECTFUL MANAGEMENT! As a solo traveler I found a medical needle with an unknown substance that had been folded into a "clean towel" after calling the front desk to remove it they were unable to move my room type to what I had booked. I was told I would be contacted by a manager shortly and provided my information. A week later and NOTHING no apology, follow up at all! I attempted to get an email to reach out to the manager but one could not be provided and anytime I called I was placed on hold. I just called again and they took down my information but I imagine this is another dead end. On top of this the hotel is quite frankly not clean, they neglect to note the lack of elevator and fact that the hotel hallways are outside. The gentleman who checked me in and assisted with the removal of the needle was helpful and insisted I would be able to resolve this promptly with management, however this was not the case. I work in hospitality and can say this is the worst experience I have ever had.

Beware of parking fee over charge.
Although convenient, clean and "inexpensive" I do not recommend staying here. Staff is friendly, but I was charged an overnight parking fee to which I had no car. I have called repeatedly ( 6x between my husband and myself ) to be told the same thing; "we will get that started for you" or " I will pass this to my manager" or " I will start this and have my manger review" or " that manger is no longer here, but I will have someone call you" and lastly " I will print that to start the process". Ridiculous. The hotel was completely run down and ironically upon check-in agent need to place a $40 hold on my cc for "incidentals" to which only $30 was refunded. The $10 was the overnight parking fee. I mistakenly left a kinder review immediately after my stay on Hotels.com but that was before this month long phone circus. Now, in full disclose of review of room, there is no elevator so be prepared to huff it up the stairs to second floor with your bags. The door handle was upside down so entry was confusing and the latch inside was broken. There was exposed particle board, broken mirror, hodge lodge and stain on ceiling. Two wet carpet areas led me to think this was a freshly cleaned up crime scene. I can forgive a lot of things in hotels. Expect what you pay for; cheap hotel = cheap accommodation. However, I don't tolerate being stolen from and in this case charging me for something that I never had is fraud.

Avoid this Seedy Dump!
There are excellent hotels near the Portlznd Airport - this is NOT one of them. Avoid this property, you will be glad you did. This is an "independently owned hotel". So WHEN you have problems or issues NO ONE CARES. 2. The photos provided by the property are DECADES old. They dont come even close to accurately showing the current decrepit and SEEDY condition of the property. There are homeless transients lingering in the area. Significant security issues. 3. The front desk staff at this property are RUDE, DISMISSIVE, and Attitudinal. Management needs to go to a better grade of Trailer Park to recruit its staff! 4. Roughly HALF of this property is Non ADA compliant. So, if you,have mobility issues - they DO NOT CARE 5. And finally, what is NOT mentioned is the insane level of NOISE. My room was literally FEET from the runway at Portland International. The window glass in my windows sometimes vibrate and rattle!
