Comfortable stay with great service.

We stayed in room 15 for 3 nights.. It is 10 min from the main entrance to Milo McIver State Park Judy at the front desk was super friendly and suggested good restaurants for dinner. The AC/heater worked great. Was not noisy, perfect white noise for sleeping. You could see signs of aging in the room, but nothing troublesome. (nicks and dings in the walls and furniture. The room and bathroom were very clean, we had fresh good quality towels everyday. It had all the expected amenities: Coffee maker, microwave, fridge, big flat screen TV (bigger than the one I have at home), Dish network, comfy chair and foot stool, table with 2 chairs and desk with chair. Lots of desktop outlets for charging electronics. The building was full, mostly with disc golfers from the Beaver State Fling, but we were not bothered by noise. The bed was firm to medium, the edges were very firm so I struggle to get out of bed (but I'm also an obese man). The pillows were thin. I would have preferred thicker ones or more of them. I should have asked if they had any. As an obese man, I found the toilet area claustrophobic. The shower had plenty of hot water, but for a 5'11" man the shower head was a little low. The water pressure was sufficient. The only downside was the amount of light that came in around the curtains and door. Bring a sleeping mask if that is problematic for you. Judy was extra helpful and called us when we left something in the room. The parking area and neighborhood felt safe.

Comfy bed in smoky room

Room 16 was clean and comfortable. Price $87/night. King size bed, tv fine, no refrig or microwave. The a/c worked fine. Unfortunately, it reeks of smoke. Customer service not the greatest. Ice machine was down on a hot (100 degrees) day and no effort was made to provide alternative. In addition, wifi code did not work. When I called the front desk, the man who answered was rude and suggested that there was no issue, even though my partner and I had 3 devices which would not accept the given code.

Comfortable and Clean - A nice, simple motel

I would happily stay here again, it was better than I had expected - it must have been refurbished as the old photos online look worse than it is. Comfortable beds, lots of space, windows for fresh air. It was very clean. It is very simple- not all the rooms have a fridge. But it has a nice outlook. We had booked a couple of rooms, all smelt clean except for one which smelt a little smokey. If you need a basic motor-motel for a few night's sleep then this is a fair option. There are not many choices in the neighbourhood. Wifi included.

Ok for stoners

ok if you like to get high while checking in. The rooms were pretty clean except for the mostly empty shampoo bottle. The man on shift would have been more helpfull if he wasn't so baked. I had to tell my wife and 10 month old child to stay outside while I checked in so they wouldn't be exposed to all the pot smoke in the office. I will not be staying again even if I have to pay tripple somewhere else.
