My husband and I have stayed at several Westover Inns over the years with Pelican Shores Inn in Lincoln City being the most recent. The staff is the best and the rooms are always very clean, king size bed comfortable, with a spectacular oceanfront view. The continental breakfast is a bonus, along with fresh baked choclate chip cookies at 5:00 pm daily. We look forward to coming back and staying longer. Deborah & Billy Scott

You can tell they try to make this place seem great on paper, but it doesnt perform or justify the price tag. We stayed in room 326 (2nd floor) The good: -Clean room, had a small kitchen (stove, microwave, mini fridge) - seperate living room from bedroom -ocean views and access (literally nothing between your room and the ocean) -evening cookies -continental breakfast -indoor pool Honestly it checked almost every box we wanted we wanted on paper…but in execution it just isnt quite right The not so great: - odd facility. Extremely small/tight parking lot, and theres absolutely no hotel staff past 10pm (best not get locked out, or need towels or blankets. You can call for help but you have to wait for someone to come) -door quirks. Room doors dont always open and require odd quirks to disengage lock (randomly having to lift the handle upwards if the lock sticks). Bathroom door lock was also damaged and non functional -not ideal pool access. Yes the pool is “indoor” but its also seperate from the main building (inside a greenhouse). You have to walk across parking lot to get to it…which is awful going back to your room when youre wet and its january (and the provided pool towels are more like hand towels- dont wrap around an adult) -minimal breakfast. Continental breakfasts have improved vastly with most chains offering fruit and/or a waffle iron. This place was limited to cereal, bagels/mini muffins, and yogurt. Yes its food and its free, but nothing i would use to influence my decision making Its good on paper; but “just fine” in execution (unless the other hotels are the same price and dont offer one of the options above)

No trucks!
NO TRUCKS! Very tight parking, trucks not recommended. We had to ask the front desk to wake up another guest to move their truck to get ours out. The rooms were clean enough & the staff was friendly but the parking is horrible. The room was a bit strange because it didnt have a balcony but had a sliding door with guard rail; so a faux balcony?? It served its purpose & if we were driving a car we might stay again, but not in a truck.

Another good stay. Always clean and inviting. Very friendly staff. Breakfast has changed a bit, not offering as much as on previous stays. No fresh fruit offered and I didn't like the coffee they are using now. It is still the only place I would stay when visiting Lincoln City.

Great stay.
Check in was a breeze. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cookies in the evening. The room and bed were comfortable. Amazing ocean view and easy beach access.
