Oregon Garden to the rescue!
Our other reservation at a cabin in the area fell through at the last minute. The front desk at the Oregon Garden Resort was so helpful and got us two rooms on no notice at all. We were basically stranded by our other reservation completely dropping the ball. Oregon Garden to the rescue! Even gave us the group rate with a club we were traveling with. We thought all the rooms were already booked, but it all worked out wonderfully. It became our base for the rest of our three day trip. The rooms could use a little remodeling, but the staff there was so nice and accommodating it made the stay well worth every penny.

Great value, romantic and dog friendly.
We loved our experience at the Oregon Garden Resort and felt it was a great value for the price point. We really enjoyed watching the sunset as we ate our lovely dinner. The server was very friendly and fun to talk with and our food It tasted great. Traveling with our dog, we appreciated the dog area that was larger than typical and clean, though it could have used a few bushes for them other than the one tree. The room had a private fenced in patio, which was unexpected, and while it was too warm to use the fireplace I could definitely see the desire to have one in colder months. Though we didn't have enough time to use the pool, hot tub, or walk the gardens, we will plan more time in the future to use all of the amenities.

Silverton's Best Hotel
I've stayed here twice below. The gardens are truly beautiful: the major one, and the landscaping everywhere on site. From my private porch early on Thursday morning, a pine tree sparkled with dew. The pinecones sparkled too. Gorgeous! i loved my tour of the Gordon House (Frank Lloyd Wright.) This made my vacation very memorable! The docent (a veteran high school science teacher who volunteers giving tours) was exceptional! I learned so much. I liked both the front desk people: the man who checked me in, and a lovely graceful woman. I dropped my keys off early am today. The person a young man was efficient. I appreciate being offered a printed bill. Breakfast is consistently good. I like the fresh fruit and oatmeal. Thanks for the coffee urn in the lobby for early morning. My only peeve: my in-room coffee maker had to be replaced. The next one "locked up" after I made my first cup. I couldn't repeat my success after the first cup. It's very common at many hotels I stay at: annoying coffee makers. For awhile, I travelled with my own electrical kettle and pour-over apparatus. I'm going to pack it next time I come to the Orchard Garden Hotel. Also, the mattress in P 401 felt very mushy to me, way too soft. Plenty of nice pillows tho' and I love having a microwave and refrigerator. Both were new and clean. Thanks!

Lovely gem of a place to stay
A gem of a property. The room was large and comfortable with nice amenities. Free entry into the gardens for residents and it was nice that so long as you are in before they close, you can exit back to the resort on your own time. Check in staff were friendly, but when checking out, I wasn’t acknowledged and felt like i had disturbed the receptionist when I asked what to do with the key. Also forgot breakfast was included so sadly missed out on that. The fireside bar was lovely and casual and the live music was fun. Great beers on tap too, with a friendly hardworking bunch of bar staff. We would absolutely stay again. Beautiful place and a nice, quaint town, surrounded by Christmas tree farms, making the drive to the state park pretty.

Wonderful
We enjoy our stay at Oregon Garden Resort great deal. Everything met our expectations and more. Accommodations, atmosphere, gardens, breakfast buffet, dinner was super good and so was the desserts. We will definitely be back.
