Ants..
(this is the location adjoinin the STARS parking lot... see my 2nd review for the Motel 6 across the road from this location) Room 114. . . We rented this room. all was good.. it was decent.. then as we went to bed.. i notice an ant crawling ON MY arm. I thought just one ant,, no biggie, right>? no, where there is one there is more..and there was more.. they come out of the back of the dresser/desk that the tv sits on. Not sure hopw one got onmy arm, but it happened. So we tell the front desk.. They offer a discount on night 2. So we think OKAY lets give them another shot.. MY girlfriend goes in to rent the room and she says MY NAME is on the "do not rent list" from the previous night... no explanation... she kindly tells the Bear (front desk night audit guy) the situation and they say "oh yeah I see where that was over ridden" and proceeds to rent the room to us.. Night 2 they put us in the SAME ROOM.. so I think Okay they must have resolved the issue.. NOPE this time there were more ants than the night before.. Bring it to the front desk person.. and again to the manager Barry the next morning. All he had to say was "He put you in the SAME ROOM?!?!" Like what was he thinking? there was ZERO RESOLVE to this issue.. On the other hand if strip clubs are your thing... STARS is literally across the parking lot from this location. Gas/Shopping and dining within walking distance.

Very comfortable stay
I stayed at the motel 6 recently in Tigard Oregon and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was in my room. Naomi was very helpful at the front desk. All in all, I had a very comfortable stay at Motel 6. I would definitely stay here again.

Look elsewhere, garbage example of motel 6
I have stayed at a ton of motel 6’s over my life.. typically they are known for simple, clean and well kept lodging for individuals and families needing basic accommodations. This place is the worst 6 I’ve stayed in ever. They share a parking lot with a dive bar which initially seems interesting until throughout the night people from the bar wedge their cars in between the hotel guest’s cars so they can sober up, shoot meth, or turn tricks. It has happened all three nights I have been here. Cops regularly cruise lot to with I have a thumbs up and got a wink in return. But the riff raff continues. You notice the majority of the car license plates in the lot are Oregon plates and most of the cars filled to the brim with garbage from the inhabitants who live in their cars part time and stop at this place to freshen up once a week. They pull chairs out from the room to sit outside as of they are on their own front porch. The pictures of this motel looks modern and fresh online but it’s a trick. The vinyl floors are grimy, the walls are dirty, bathroom toilet seats worn, tub drains are blocked etc. All signs of poor management, deferred maintenance and unsavory clientele. A toilet seat is $20 at Home Depot. Note they don’t even ask for your license plate number at check in because that would give the false impression that they cared about the cars that are parked here. All in all it’s a total joke. I’m all about economical lodging but this has crossed the line big time and is far below motel 6 standards. What a joke. We’ll see if management even tried to follow up and I will update if so.

Great stay .Welcoming
Had a relaxing stay. I come here just to get away from home get some work done. This Motel6 in Tigard is the best by far, I've stayed at other ones but the customer service here is excellent the front desk employees morning ladies are very professional. Thanks Nadia and Carmen for making this a welcoming stay. You girls are awesome! The management gentleman seems to be new but sure seems know what he's doing. Housekeeping on point and very satisfied with my stay. Rooms are spectacular!

Worst experience of my Motel staying Life. Terrible Management onsite.
I am a local Man for over 45 years. I trusted Motel 6... I went online and booked a room in the Tigard Lake grove /Lake Oswego site, When I got there they would not honor Deal. Manager said my valid Aarp account number wouldn't work. Wasted ten minutes of my time and then charged me an extras $1.62 (are u kidding me?) Online booking said Microwave and Fridge, Did not have. So onto Room No nothing as far as shampoo soap etc. Walked around the complex with my service animal. Six Washington County police Cruisers were there in the Back lot. Three at door of guest unit. Front office knew nothing about their presence. (Seriously) Then several guest and homeless people approached me asking for cigarettes or money. Then it gets better Three eighteen wheelers with 40' trailers backing into lot (I guess they pay to park there??) Two abandoned trailers in front entrance (Really nice visual touch) Then went and got Dinner to go, Came back to office to ask questions and talking to lady at counter, in comes in a guest with an aggressive breed Pitbull, The animal sees my service animal and lunges towards us, The man then puts Dog outside unchained comes back in a proceeds to tell me to not leave office until he is through with his Business. I left immediately and advised him to detain his animal when in public and not to tell me when to come or go. As I left the guest came towards me in an aggressive manner saying things towards me and my Dog. I went to my room and called office The lady apologized for the incident of the Dogs actions I replied I was more upset that They would let the guest continue to stay there, (Big Liability) after his verbal crap So after many loud noises, headlights shining into rooms. More shady People walking around, I could not sleep. So I went downstairs and found four Tualatin Police Cruisers there attending to what seemed like a threatening Man. So I said enough's enough. I went downstairs around 3:30am and asked for a refund because of noise Threats and feeling very unsafe there and feeling like they would not provide me with a decent nights sleep but more important a safe stay. The lady said she could not right now due to doing a nightly audit (OK!) Went over to main building across the street and asked for a refund was told I could or I could have a diff. room. I saw no value of doing this now its about 4:30am was told I would get a refund and call when the manager came in later. I slept in my car in very cold weather, called Manager later in day and he immediately went off on about He seen video and seen nobody knocking on my door (What!!!!!) After he refused to listen about dog and dog owner cops there etc. etc. I said I would dispute charges with my Bank or he could do the right thing. which maybe next time The Manager could just start off with a simple apology. ( i may have just walked away with that) But No! The Manger "Barry" was absolutely rude as heck. over a lousy $73.00-$74.00 charge. Seriously, does he realize it costs Motel 6 about half that just to acquire a potential Customer on the average. You know I was a Manager, General Manager most my Adult life in the local area. And I would never treat a Customer with such disrespect. Ever!!!!! I don't care what your excuse was Mr. manager , You were very rude to me on phone. What makes your company successful is this. Make happy Customer's and then make Money. I will never ever return to this Business and I will advise all my Family and Friends not to either. You had the chance to make things right and you did not .. My advice is spend a little more and get a lot more somewhere else. Very unsatisfied.
