  Stay somewhere else.

  The current “construction” situation makes this property feel very unwelcoming. Signage needs significant improvement, as it’s difficult to even determine where to enter. There is also only one handicap parking space within reasonable walking distance of an entrance, which is concerning. At first glance, the room seemed acceptable, but there was a noticeable musty smell. When I got into bed, I realized the bedding was also very minimal—just two sheets and a blanket that was equally as thin. Unfortunately, the bigger issue was the smell. The bed had a heavy musty odor that made it difficult to relax. On top of that, the room next to mine was extremely noisy. I called the front desk multiple times throughout the night to complain, but the noise continued nonstop. When I finally left at 4 a.m., the same guests were still loudly talking near the elevator. Between the noise and the musty smell coming from the bed, I got about an hour of sleep before having to leave for a long day of travel. I’ve stayed at this location three other times, but this will be my last. As a Platinum member, that should say something. The front desk staff also seemed largely indifferent to the complaints, which was very disappointing. And to top it all off, my hair now smells like a moldy bed for the rest of the day. Very disappointed.

  A Comfortable Stop Over

  A very clean and comfortable room, that met our needs well. We would recommend this LaQuinta for anyone needing a basic room near the PDX airport and we would stay here again.

  My stay

  Great location, room was clean and comfortable. Rate was excellent. Breakfast was awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The elevator did not work which meant I had to carry my luggage up a flight of stairs. There was no hairdryer in my room which was a problem. The blower in the eating area cooled down the food real quick. The outside needs some attention. I cannot say enough about the staff and how friendly they were, awesome. It is close to the airport which was a giant plus.

  Nice stay,

  Great staff. We checked in and took our rental car to the airport and the hotel picked us up. It was a nice quiet place. Breakfast was a nice start before catching the shuttle to the airport. I would definitely recommend if flying out of Portland early.

  Great location to airport

  Positives: Close to airport. Shuttle service to airport. Comfortable beds. Negatives: Old and outdated. Worn out furniture. Stains on carpeting. Our floor was loud with many kids. Limited time on breakfast hours. The room had an odd smell. Breakfast very limited and out of items.
