Quiet, Comfortable Stay at Homewood Suites Hillsboro/Beaverton
We stayed one night at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Hillsboro/Beaverton while traveling through Oregon. Very nice property tucked back in a quiet court, so there’s no road noise whatsoever. Our room was one of their spacious and spotless King Suites, with a full kitchen (including utensils and cookware) that made it easy to prep a simple meal instead of dining out. The bed was comfortable, the living area cozy, and the entire hotel felt well maintained and very clean. Only one disappointment to report: the evening social with beer, wine, and snacks, which used to be a real Homewood Suites highlight, is now just one night a week (Wednesday, I believe). Hopefully they bring it back more often. There’s plenty of free parking around the building and a handy little pantry by reception selling snacks and drinks, including alcohol. All in all, a solid stay that delivers exactly what you’d expect from a good Homewood Suites: comfort, quiet, and convenience.

Charged for parking with no car
This hotel charged me for parking even though I didn’t have a car, and this isn’t the first time that they have done this. Also, this is a suburban location where charging for parking isn’t normal. If you stay here and have a car, just park on the street nearby. Otherwise, stay at the Fairfield Inn right next door as it has free parking.

Great Stay for a Sports Competition in Beaverton
We stayed her for 7 nights for a youth sports competition. Overall, it was great! We had a 2 bedroom suite- 1 king bed and 2 queens on the third floor (room 335). We did not hear any street noise, but we could hear the people above us walking around. If that bothers you, opt for the 4th floor. The unit was very comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job- they provide service every other day. Front desk staff was outstanding- always very helpful and professional. Loacation seemed safe and there is enough parking ($12/day fee). If you plan to cook, the kitchenette equipment is very sparse and basic. Also, there are 2 washing machines and 2 dryers for the whole property and one dryer was out of service, causing a bit of a bottleneck. Overall, very pleasant experience.

One bed for four adults
I booked a room for four adults. I was put in a room with one bed. When I called the front desk, I was told the one pullout couch is for the other two adults. Heads up. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooope.

All around great stay
We stayed for a couple nights while visiting family in the area. Great breakfast selection! Love the variety every day - always some type of meat, plus other options for us non-egg eaters. One day there were potato pancakes - yum! Room was comfy and bed was nice, like the space provided with a suite. Stocked coffee and a fridge available with an ice maker. Quiet at night, one afternoon we were around and being next to the laundry was noisy. Pool area was quite pleasant, nice to sit for a few and chill. The water was a bit cold for swimming. Safe neighborhood. I didn’t know about the $10/night parking which took me my surprise (why?)
