Two Night Couples Stay
My wife and I took a quick little two night getaway to Astoria. I had a free night certificate (it’s sometimes challenging to find availability at this property) so it worked out as a BOGO. We’ve occasionally stayed here throughout the years. It’s clean, it has free parking, it’s convenient to everywhere in very walkable Astoria. The main attraction is the location and view and you definitely pay a premium even if your room doesn’t have a view. So splurge for the view. There is a pool (didn’t use). There is a free breakfast (standard hot buffet). There is no water provided even if you ask so note that. All in all it’s about mid for what Astoria has to offer hotel wise. If you live in the PNW you can do better but if you might not get here again it’s a great place to stay and just take it all in, on the river right under the bridge.

Plenty Good Enough
We always stay here. As with other properties, they are economizing: no more warm evening cookies, fewer or no amenities at the main desk... They are getting used to a Costas coffee machine, and customers are encountering the usual getting-used-to problems: leaving their full coffee cup on the machine so no one else can prepare their cup, etc. While guests and staff get used to this, it might be good to have an old-fashioned pot of coffee available, especially because the hotel claims to have coffee available at all times. This isn't Europe, so no espresso, no hand held shower head...just your basic very clean room with just enough towels, decent beds, plenty of outlets, and staff trained to be helpful.

Gorgeous view
Very nice hotel with gorgeous views of the Astoria-Megler Bridge. Convenient parking. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Couldn't ask for more. Astoria is a great town and this hotel has a great location to the waterfront activities and sites.

Hotel wrecked my vacation
This ugly nursing home hotel proves how badly Oregon hates tourists. Glad I have sleeping bags for their hospital beds & no blankets. Hope they go bankrupt and screw your 100$ “Transient homeless Tax” all tourists are required to pay for sleazy rooms like this. Holiday Inn destroyed my vacation totally.

Excellent customer service
Great customer service. Lovely clean room with a great view of the bridge and river. Bed comfy, slept well although the sound of vehicles going over the bridge took some time to get used to. Right on the Astoria riverwalk and close to the bridge bistro which was awesome. The riverwalk at night needs more light especially in front of the hotel - the lamps outside were not working.
