We stayed here for two nights. The front desk employee was very friendly during our night-time check-in. She recognized our status, explained the hours of the amenities and even went hunting for a luggage cart at 11pm for us. The rooms are not very quiet. We could hear neighbors above and below our room, and A/C unit is loud. Overall the room was clean and adequate for our stay with one exception. The bathroom remodel was not done well. The shower stall was recaulked in some areas but there was mold all around the soap dish. Water pressure was very meek; I could not rinse shampoo out of my thick hair. There were towel hooks rather than bars, so towels do not dry overnight. And, bathroom fan goes on automatically when you flip the light switch, so it's not quiet. Room does have a small microwave and fridge and coffee maker. Fitness room was small but adequate for a workout. Parking was free and ample during the weekend we were there. The location is easy to access and near a few fast food places and a high-end grocery store. If we needed an overnight stay, this hotel works. For longer stays, the bathroom would be an issue.
Really nice hotel. Friendly staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. Right off of the highway but no noise inside the hotel. Close to shopping and restaurants. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.
This hotel charges pet fee per pet for $75 just for a night stay, $150 for 2 pets. This is not what other Hilton hotels does, and described as in the website pet fee description. This is cheating because the website doesn't specify the fee per pet, but only in the pet agreement, which gave you no choice because you couldn't cancel at arrival. In addition, hotel employee can also make up false accusations that your might have more dogs and interrogate you by calling your room even past 10pm. They put in additional statements in the signed pet agreement and made it looked like you agreed and signed it. Hotel management do not care to check facts, and ignore your concerns. The hotel employee also put in falsified note without you knowing. If I didn't ask for a copy of the pet agreement at check out, I wouldn't know. Hotel management does not clarify what information they have created about guests, and how they are shared with others. This is a red flag. This kind of practice damages your reputation, and create potential surveillance, prejudice treatment from other employees/hotels without guests knowing about. Stay away.
I used to love this hotel, staying there 4x per year. The staff always went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. That ended on my last planned trip. On my travel there, the airline had delays resulting in me missing my check-in by 2 days. I accepted the airline offer to cancel due to these and requested the Hampton Inn Medford to cancel my reservation. Previously, they would accept verbal or an email with details, cancelling and crediting the first night. That policy apparently has changed. I sent screen shots and email details of my flight delay and cancellation. I called the Hampton Inn Medford two times and sent 3 emails. I requested a response either by email or phone. They failed to do any of this. The only thing they did was charge me for the first night for which the airline was at fault. Never, never, never book a reservation here is your travel plans may not get you there.
We had been driving for a while and had decided to stop for the night. Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. We only stayed for the night. Room was very clean and breakfast was fresh. The staff member in charge of restocking the breakfast was super friendly and helpful.
